Why did Chase have to ruin that moment?

" What do you want?" I say a little harsher than intended.

"Nothing." he says putting his hands in surrender "Just wanna say I'm happy that your staying for a little longer."

"Ya but I might change my mind after seeing you is all the town has to offer a welcoming comity." I say turning back around and taking a sip of water.

"Hey don't need to be mean." he says coming around the island to face me. "I just wanna welcome a old friend home."

I roll my eyes

"Chase, get your head out of your ass and get this through your head, I'm not your friend I'm not your buddy and please stay out of my way while I'm here." I say standing up.

"Well than... acquaintance." he smirks " There's a dance next Sunday for the winter festival at the town hall and I'm part if the organizing comity..."

I cut him off by spiting out my sip of water I had just drank "you're on the what?" I laugh

"Ya ya laugh all you want." he says rolling his eyes "but it's where I get all the hot girls."

I laugh even harder trying to picture Chase hanging up decorations and throwing pick up lines at blushing girls.

"... Anyways, our band isn't able to preform so we need a replacement fast. And since your a professional singer and everyone loves you and I don't know why. he says mumbling the last part. " Can you help fill in?" I can see he didn't wanna ask but I guess I was his last choice.

I think for a moment before coming up with a brilliant plan.

"Okay here's the deal." I say sitting back on my chair and leaning foreword like a mob boss making a deal. "I will do it if you give me 5 wishes"

"Like in Aladdin?" he says raising an eyebrow

" didn't you watch Aladdin you idiot? " I say shaking my head. " he only got 3 wishes."

" ya whatever, But no wishing for more wishes and money and stuff right?" he says amazed that he is getting off easy.

"Ya basically." I say in a duh tone

"Well than." he says " what's your first wish?"

"I dunno." I say standing back up "but I'll let you know what it is when I want something" I smirk and walk out of the kitchen

"Rehearsal is at 5 on Saturday at the old theatre." he yells.

"Anna." says Emily " it's only a soccer game."

Today was Aaron's soccer game and I was having trouble figuring what to wear.

I hold up the two outfits that I am contemplating to wear. The first one is a flowy Chanel long sleeved cream top with dark skinny jeans and leather boots and to top it all off a set of silver star earrings and a charm bracelets. my second outfit is a long maroon sleeved thin shirt with ripped skinny jeans and a pair of black flats with little gold heart earrings

"Which one?" I say holding them up.

"Um the second one." she says without looking texting on her phone probably to Jeremy

"You weren't looking!" I whine

"You weren't looking!" she mimicked in a high pitchy voice.

I roll my eyes and take the second outfit.

We arrive to the high schools indoor field, which is where the game is being held, when the bleachers are already mostly filled. Emily and I start to look for our mom. we see her waving frantically and make our way over.
