"Yay!" I yell as the buzzer for the basketball carnival game buzzed off.
" You cheated." pouts Aaron.
Today Aaron and I decided to go on a twins day, because it was PT day*.
The man who works at the booth hands me a giant toy elephant. I expect it giggling.
"Just admit it I'm always gonna be the better twin." I say sticking out my tougue.
"Hey let's go get ice cream." He says not waiting for my answer and rushing the the booth. The girl selling ice cream blushes as Aaron comes over and orders. she even bats her eyelashes. But when she sees me he mouth drops. Her blush goes even deeper. I think she thinks I am dating Aaron. I smile warmly and say hi.
"Hi." she whispers as she scoops chocolate ice cream from the tub.
"So what's the best flavour here?" I say trying to act casual.
"You are Anna Walters right." she blurts out
I smile and nod my head. Her eyes go even wider than I ever thought they could. they look like they are about to pop out of her head.
"Yep." I say popping the p and taking the chocolate ice cream that was meant for Aaron
"Hey." Aaron cried in protests
"It's mine now." I say taking a giant bite and cackling like a crazy person.
Aaron rolls his eyes
The ice cream girl cracks a tiny smile. I think it's because she sees that I am normal and not some celebrity alien.
"So what's you name?" I say as ice cream girl makes another chocolate ice cream cone.
"Um sorry, I'm uh Monique." she says nervously handing the ice cream to Aaron. She blushes as they touch hands.
Aww how cute. Since I got back I learned that my brothers and were the heartthrobs of the town. Which is weird because they are my brothers and I get to see who they really are. like gross,immature teenage boys at home while they are always flirtatious and charming to the outside. And it's also weird that Chase is also one too. who can ever like such a douche bag?
"That such a pretty name." I say "I have a friend with that name to."
"Is it Monique Pomnel? Two time Grammy winner, dating Mike Trudel" she blurts out than slapping her hand over her mouth. "sorry I heard you here for a vacation from all that Hollywood stuff. I'm sorry.
"It's okay." I chuckle. "And wow you did you research. anyways here." I hand here a 20 dollar bill. "keep the change."
Aaron and I walk away.
" Well that was awkward." Mutters Aaron when we get a safe distance away
"Why?" I say finishing off my ice cream
"Promise not to tell?" he says looking me in the eye.
"Ya sure why?" I say piping the last of my cone in my mouth
"No I'm serious." he says seriously, which is not usual so it must be serious.
"She has had a crush on me since the 6th grade and she's also Abby's cousin and um uh ya." he says a little too quickly
"Aaron is there something that you are not telling me." I say raising my eyebrows
"Uh um uh..." he stutters
"If you don't I will go ask Monique." I threaten turning
"Fine. I-I-IhadaonenightstandwithherwhenIwasdatinganothergirl." He quickly says
"What?" I cough
"I cheated on my ex girlfriend with her." he says slowly and quietly .
"Are you kidding me?" I say loudly
"Calm down Anna." he says trying to calm me.
"No I won't. that poor girl over there had to suffer you being a jerk! you are such a man whore!" I yell.
Everyone it staring at us, even Monique,who is blushing so hard. But I am so mad at Aaron that I barely notice
Guys like Aaron and James make me so mad.
"You know why it came back?" I yell.
"Why." he says standing up towering me.
"Because I wanted to get away from reporters. I wanted to have a break. but most of all I wanted to get away from guys like you!" I scream
People have there cameras out and phones recording my big blowout. I guess they realized who I was. But I don't care about people staring and videotaping. I stomp off the boardwalk.
Guys are so insensitive about girls feelings! Aaron is just like James, man whores!
