"My heart died... but you know damn well if your a strong NightMare and the timing is right your soul can take the place of your heart." The girl named Kana sighed and leaned back on her bed.
"You were so young though... That stuff only happens to powerful NightMares..." Cara sits down in the chair beside her bed. "Apparently I've been powerful sense birth... I discovered my true power when I got stabbed and saw them run after you... Something inside me told me to shatter whatever barrier was covering my power... So I did..." Kana stares at her hands in awe.
"Wait... you mean the reason I lost them was because... You-" Kana cuts off Cara says yes with a large frown on her face. "I killed them all... My power is very confusing... but to make this whole situation less confusing I'll explain it to you..."
"My power or ability is emotion... When I'm sad a rain cloud appears and rains on me, sometimes I use the rain drops to attack... When I'm angry random things around me start on fire... When I'm happy, stars summon around me, I normally just throw them at my enemies... Last but not least, when I feel fear... That's when my weapon forms..." Kana looks at her busted up hands.
"What's your weapon...?" Cara puts her hands in Kana's hands. "It's a scythe..." Kana closes her eyes. "...What emotion were you when you saved me...?" Cara grips her sisters hands tighter. Kana eyes widen... "...A-All of them... When all emotions take over it's like hell on earth for everyone around me.... Your just lucky you ran away fast enough...." Kana puts her head down and begins to cry.
"What's happens exactly when all of them... you know..." Cara wipes her tears.
"The ground begins to crack... then they all fall into hell..." Kana sighs and puts her glasses on. "...How were you happy at a time like that...?" Cara questions her.
"I was happy you got away..." Kana closes her eyes and dosed off.
"...That's enough for today... We can come back tomorrow..." Havens gently grabs Cara arm and starts to walk her out. Cara pulls away and kisses her sisters forehead. "Yea... We'll be back..." They both exit the room.
2 days later things started to calm down. Kana began to talk more to the people who visited her, Arika and Cara began to plan the squads next movement, and the bastard boss summoned all NightMares to the main lobby...
"Welcome all NightMares of the society! I do apologize for disrupting everyone for this important announcement." The boss adjusted the main microphone as everyone stood there confused. "We have officially finished the A rank housing wing! A rank NightMares may move in tomorrow! Please alert any of your families or contacts about this news. Thank you that is all I have to say. " The boss exited the room.
"This is amazing!!! Now Kana and Blake can live here!!!" Cara jumps up and down.
"Haha, yea Blake is going to be so happy once I tell him" Haven laughs. "This is awesome! I can finally move out of my stupid company room!" Kagami yelled over the crowd of NightMares. "Oh yea that's right your an A Rank. Your job here is what gives you a room right?" Cara furrows her eyebrow. "Yep, the room they give lower rank workers are really small and smelly... I'm pumped to finally get out of that shit hole!" Kagami jumps up and down.
~2 Days Later~
Things in the society have been going quite well ever sense the boss announced Rank A housing. NightMares with A Ranks looking for shelter flooded the lobby and would continue to for the next few days.
Kari was discharged for the societies infirmary. The boss gave Her an A Rank and a room to live in. She also got a new roommate named Nova.
The Fear Squad is plotting a small mission to attempt to get Renji to tell them classified information about NEO.
He hasn't said much sense he was brought in. Renji did may things to Kari body mentally and psychically. She's been healing her wounds and bruises for the past few days.
"In past interrogations Dr. Renji refuses to say anything about NEO... He also doesn't care about his live so we can't threaten him..." Cara says in a serious tone. "He doesn't seem like the type to have anyone close to him, and if he did I don't think he'd care if we killed them..." Haven taps her fingers on the table.
"Why don't we just bribe him with money. That's probably why he did all this is the frost place." Skia leans her head on her head. "Are you stupid? I highly doubt he's a scientist for the money. He just seems like a sadist... He probably only does it cause he's a psycho." Arika shrugged.
"I wanna get this shit over with. You'd guys can come if you want, I don't really care." Cara walks out of the room and Storm, Haven, and Skia follow her.
Cara quickly opens the door, the others follow her in. Cara slams her hand next to Renji's head that's leans against the wall. "I'm not doing this to be romantic. I'm just extremely frustrated." Cara summons her sword and puts it up to this neck.
"I'm guessing you want answers. Well, I can tell you now that I don't have any." Renji confidently states. "We aren't stupid. We know you at least know a little about what we need considering you were a part of whatever project NEO is planning. " Cara brings her face closer to his face with a cold look.
"So what if I do know some stuff? I don't mind giving you monsters information, I just don't want to lose all my research. If I were to be kicked out of NEO everything I worked for would have been for nothing. If I were to die it wouldn't matter as much as losing everything."
