I walk into the school with my earphones on blasting Hell Above by Pierce The Veil into my ears. Another boring day of school.
I look around and spot the principal who glares at me and motions to my ears. I take out my earphones with a annoyed look on my face.
"Alison. Come here" I hear Mr. Trenter, the principal, say.
"Yes?" I walked to him.
"You know the school well...and..." He paused. I had a pretty good idea of what he was going to say next.
"I need you to show the new kid around to his classes. Luckily he's in your class so it is very convenient," He said and looked at me expectantly.
What did he expect me to jump up and cheer? I wasn't looking forward to walking some kid around school, especially if she is another annoying cheery girl.
I sighed "Fine. Whats her name?"
"Actually, his name is Nathaniel Riemann," Mr.Trenter said. He extended his arm and pointed,"He's right over there. Go over to him and introduce yourself"
I turned and rolled my eyes.' No fucking duh' I thought. 'Lets just get this over with' I sighed.
"Hey Nathaniel?" I waved and smiled at a boy a little taller than me. He was perfectly tanned with dark brown hair.
"Hi, Mr. Trenter told you about me right?" He smiled, showing his white perfect teeth.
"Yea. Im supposed to show you around." I said.
"Great!" Theres that smile again. "Whats your name?"
"Oh right, Im Alison" I replied. How dumb could I be? Forgetting my name?!
He laughed, "thats a really nice name"
"Thanks." Maybe showing him around wouldn't be so bad.
