So far the man is living with us. Mom lets him eat with us and she talks to him in the living room everyday. She thinks I don't listen, but I find my ways to stroll by and hear a sentence or two.

I got up from my bed and started getting ready. It was the same routine everyday, I could basically sleep while getting ready. After putting on my high waisted jeggings, a muscle tee band shirt that I tucked into my pants, and my doc martens, I combed my hair.

Looking in the mirror I fixed my curls from sleeping in a braid and put on mascara and eyeshadow.

"Good morning," I greeted mom and...dad....

"Whoa, uh why do you have all that makeup on?" my dad said looking at me seriously

"Wha-are you serious? I don't even have a lot on," I said. I looked at mom to say something.

"Dave, shes old enough to wear it. Leave her," She said.

"Thank. You." I mumbled to myself and picked up my things.

As I entered the building I saw Kayla and started walking to her. After talking for a while I glanced around.

"Haha-yeah. I remember that." I said, laughing. I saw Jessica talking with Nathan...

She kept talking and grabbed his hand. I looked at Nathan's confused face as Jessica dragged him outside to the sports area.

"Helloo? Are you ok?" Kayla asked.

"Uh-yea. I just got a weird headache. I'm gonna go outside and get some air." I lied.

"Want me to come?" Kayla asked.

"No-no. I want to be alone. Thanks. See you at class?" I said, walking outside. I looked around and spotted the two near the bleachers.

Jessica was laughing at something not that funny (I assumed by Nathan's confused and creeped out face).

"Oh.Mygosh. You are SO funny!" Jessica said, she stepped closer to Nathan. Just then the bell rang.

"Well, hmm. I'll see you later. Stay cute-I mean funny. Ha." Jessica said. My eyes widened as she reached up and went to kiss Nathan on the check. Guess he had the same response, because he opened his mouth to say something and then stepped back.

"What. Oh, you moved." Jessica said, fixing her hair and looking embarrassed.

"Uhm...yeaa. You should go to class." Nathan said looking at Jessica with a weird look. She turned and saw me hiding behind the bleachers and smirked. Flipping her hair fast, she reached up and kissed Nathan on the cheek.

"What. The. Fuck." I said biting my tongue to hold back my anger. I turned and ran behind the bleachers. I took a deep breath and looked up.

"That bitch." I yell-whispered. I sat down and pulled my knees to my face, laying there with my head in my hands.

"Ah-shit..." I heard someone mumble. "Ali?"

I looked up. Great, it's Nathan. I moaned and put my head in my hands again.

"Are you ok?" Nathan said sitting next to me.

I wiped my face and picked my head up. "Are you?"

"What is that supposed to mean?" He said.

"I saw Jessica." I answered, getting annoyed.

"What? Oh..." He answered his own question.

"Whatever." I said.

"I told you already. Jessica and me are nothing. Alison, she kissed me on the cheek! It's not like I didn't try to stop her." He said. He reached out for me but paused and put his hand down.
