The night before I ended up falling asleep, even though I had just found out my father ran away to keep us safe.

I got up and got ready for the day. After taking a shower I put on doc martens, shorts, and a maroon colored crop top. While I was putting on my makeup I remember Nathan and how he kissed me on the cheek.

"Ali! Hurry up!" My mom called from downstairs. I rushed down to see a breakfast of eggs, bacon, toast, and hash-browns.

"Wow, thanks mom," I said, eating my breakfast.

"Your welcome sweetie. I thought we needed a nice big family breakfast after last night." She said. After eating I said bye and walked to school.

As I entered the building I looked around for Kayla or Nathan. My eyes narrowed as I saw Nathan at our table with Jessica. The stuck up bitch from the dance team. Cheerleading, dance and football were the best teams at my school. I would choose cheerleading over dancing because at least it didn't have Jessica.

"Hey Nathan." I said and sat next to him, interrupting Jessica. I glared at her hoping she would leave, but of course her dumbass didn't realize.

"You know Alison?" Jessica said frowning at me.

"Yep," He answered.

"Oh. Well anyway, I hope you can come to the football game, I'll be there!" She said. She got up and left.

"Ugh, I hate her," I said. Nathan laughed.

"Well it's ok because im not friends with her," He said. "But you might have to see her at the football game."

"Why?" I asked.

"Because, im on the team," He grinned.

"Wow! Congrats Nathan!" I said, hugging Nathan.

"Talking about sports, we all have to join a sport. Your done, Kayla has dance, and I think i'm gonna choose cheerleading." I said hesitantly.

"Good. So you can cheer for me." He smirked and laughed.

"Wow Nathan," I said laughing. When we walked into our first period class I saw a face I thought I wouldn't see again.

"Sammy?! I though you moved to Europe?" I said to her.

"Oh uh. Yea I did, but I moved back." She said looking around.

"Oh cool. How are you?" I asked.

"Fine, and you?" She said, smiling.

"Great. This is Nathan he just moved here." I pointed to Nathan.

"Hi." He waved.

"Nice to meet you Nathan," Sammy said.

"Everyone to their seats now!" The substitute slammed his agenda on the desk. Damn another hard teacher, just what I need.

After a long two periods of technology I packed my stuff as the bell rang. At least me and Nathan passed notes about the horrible substitute.

"Ali, wanna go to the park today?" Nathan asked me.

"Sure-" I said, interrupted by a voice.

"-what?" I turned to see Jessica say this surprised.

"Your going to the park with her?" She looked at me disgusted.

"Yeah he is. Jealous?" I smirked and pulled Nathan away as we walked to the next class.

We met Kayla at math and spent the next double period working on math worksheets together.

"Hey Nathan can you hand in our sheets for us?" Kayla passed our work to him.

"Sure," He said.

After he left Kayla turned to me.

"So, do you believe me now?" She said.

"Yes... I guess." I said blushing. She gave me the I-knew-it look as Nathan sat back down.

"What did I miss?" He said.

"Oh, nothing." I said fast.

"Yep, nothing," She sarcastically for only me to hear.
