Chapter 2

"So this is the art room. I picked it for talent. What did you pick?" I pointed to a room and looked at him.

"I love art I chose it too. Although Im not very good at it" He shrugged.

I laughed "Im sure your great."

The bell above us made a loud noise and I realized we were so far from History. I looked at Nathaniel who just looked around clueless.

Sighing I grabbed his arm and rushed down the hall.

"Are we late?" He asked looking concerned.

"Were about to be if you dont hurry up!" I said without looking at him. "Come on its right around this corner!

He mumbled something that sounded like "I hope I dont have to introduce myself in front of the class..."

I looked at him about to ask him to repeat what he said but nearly ran Mr.Vetrin down.

"Oh! Sorry Mr. Vetrin!" I said while practically dragging Nathaniel through the door.

"Whoa-wait-slow down" He said. He looked up at the class and followed me to my seat.

Luckily there was a empty one next to me. Nathaniel looked at me questioning and I nodded. He sat down quickly.

"Good morning" Mr. Vetrin said while he shut the door. "He looked at Nathaniel surprised since he knew everyones face at Darmott. "It seems we have a new student joining our class! Whats your name?" He was always excited to meet new people.

"Im Nathaniel. I moved here from Florida this weekend" He smiled at the class. The small trace of shyness gone and replaced by a bold and eager Nathaniel.

"How nice! I hope you enjoy sunny California! Do you have a friend showing you around?" Mr. Vetrin said looking around the class.

"Yea, Alison is showing me around" He looked at me and answered.

"Thank you Alison. Ok lets get back to the lesson! This is a fun one!" Mr. Vetrin said practically on his toes he was so excited.

The class groaned. When Mr. Vetrin mean fun he doesn't mean the actual fun. We all expected group projects to be presented at the end of class that were 'enthusiastically made with the fun of curiosity and learning!' His words not mine.

"Oh lighten up! This time you may choose your group of three students" Mr. Vetrin announced.

I looked at Nathaniel as soon as he said that. "Wanna be in my group?" I asked him.

"Yea of course" he grinned.

Kayla, my friend since elementary walked up to me. "Hey" she said, already knowing we were in the same group,"Im Kayla" she looked at Nathaniel.

"Lets get this project done fast so we don't have to do anything for the rest of class" I said looked at both of them.

Sorry for chapter 2 being so short. I was busy with this program i'm in, its like a second school! I was thinking of Kayla disliking Nathaniel; but I dont think I should make that relationship between them yet.
