The rain wouldn't stop. It fell like an unending sheet of needles, pricking against Jenny's skin.

She tried to walk to her apartment as quickly. Cursing the fact that she could not get a cab.

The past few days played over and over in her head.

Adrian's mischievous glances at her during the pitch presentation... his hand brushing against her at the party celebrating the new client acquisition... the alcohol... more alcohol... the mad make out session in the dingy bathroom... and waking up beside him in bed this morning.

Jenny groaned in her head for what felt like the thousandth time.

She was Adrian's boss. This couldn't have happened.

Yet it did.

She could even remember every moment in vivid detail.

"Any one but Adrian." She thought miserably. "Adrian is such an asshole!"

She had to talk to somebody about it!

Clutching her coat tighter around her, she started to run.

Her apartment was dark, even though it was just about 8 am.

Rain continued to pour outside her French windows.

She didn't bother to switch on the lights.

Grabbing the charger from her bag, she plugged in her phone.

She would have to wait a few minutes for the battery to charge.

Impatiently, she stripped off her wet clothes, tossing them indifferently in the laundry basket.

She wrapped her dripping hair in a towel and tried switching on her phone. She felt a sense of relief when it came on and absently wiped the water off her body while opening the app.

She perched on the edge of the couch and looked up with relief at the familiar face that grinned at her.

So much like her older sister Samantha. Blonde hair pulled back in a pony tail. Pink t-shirt and faded blue jeans.

Just like 21 year old Samantha, before she died in that car crash.

If the app had an option to re-name, Jenny would have named this figure 'Sam'.

"Not wearing much today, are you?" Amy grinned.

"I did it with Adrian." Jenny blurted out with her groan.

Amy raised an eyebrow. "And... how was he?"

Jenny grinned sheepishly. "Hot... very hot."

Amy smirked. "So... What's the problem?"

"Well for one, he reports to me!" Jenny rolled her eyes. "And he's a slimy prick, if you remember."

"Of course I do." Amy smirked.

"What do I do?" Jenny wailed.

"You could continue screwing him." Amy said with a wicked grin. She looked at Jenny suggestively from head to toe. "Might as well give that body some pleasure."

"Shut up, Amy." Jenny retorted. "He’s going to twist this situation to his advantage around his little pinkie finger. It's not beyond him to blackmail me with this either."

Amy sat back and crossed her legs. "Don't you have that offsite training session next week?"

"You mean the one where they are taking us trekking to build up team spirit? Yeah...so..?"

Amy put on a thoughtful expression.
"May be he can have a little accident there." A thin smile crept on to her face. "You know, like fall off a cliff and die.”

Jenny laughed incredulously. "That's ridiculous!"

Amy laughed. "Okay, okay, I'm kidding." Then she leaned forward with a conspiratorial grin. "But... think about it... How else can you solve this? He will make life miserable for you... You wouldn't want to quit after all the hard work you've put in here... You couldn't possibly drive him to quit after this. So... logically... this is the only way out."

Jenny rubbed her face wearily. "Just theoretically... How could I do it?"

Amy grinned widely, showing her even white teeth.

"I'm sure he would want more of that sexy body of yours. Make him believe you want him to ravish you in the wild outdoors. He is an egoistic prick. He will fall for it."

Jenny got up and walked over to the full length mirror.

She was gorgeous for a 35 year old. But the faint dark circles under her eyes were a constant reminder of how tough life had been in the corporate world. How tough it still was.

She had reached her current position at work after too many sleepless nights. Too many concealed anxiety attacks. Too many personal sacrifices.

She worked too hard to let this cocky bastard get in her way.

"You need not kill him, darling." Amy said, with a grin. "But you could scare him. If need be."

Jenny looked at the figure in the mirror, next to her own reflection. So much like her big sister.

She smiled at it grimly. "Yes. If need be."
