"Rose! We're leaving for Kings Cross in twenty minutes!" Hermione, my mom yelled up the stairs to me. I slowly dragged myself out of bed, and threw on an outfit; a pair of ripped jeans, an old t-shirt, and my white converse.

"It's too early for this." I mutter to myself, mostly because I got four hours of sleep. I grabbed my trunk and hauled it down the stairs, nearly getting ran over in the process. I curse, thankfully mom isn't in the room. I walk into the kitchen and grab the coffee pot.

"You know Rose, coffee isn't good for teenagers. You'll become dependent on it." Mom says, lifting her gaze from the newspaper.

"Lack of sleep is worse." I mumble under my breath.

"Rose, if you would go to bed at a reasonable hour maybe then you wouldn't be tired." Mom replies.

"It's not that easy. I started a new book series last night and I couldn't go to bed until I finished." I say, yawning.

"You sound like your mother. I had to drag her to bed after midnight, and I'd get lectured on prying her from her book in the morning." Dad walks into the kitchen and kisses mom. Hugo runs out of the room gagging. "Are you ready for your fifth year of Hogwarts?" He asks, enthusiastically.

"Yeah. I haven't seen Scorpius or Al for most of the summer." I respond, reaching for my coffee.

"Oh, Scorpius. He's keeping his manners right?" My father says, a grin on his face.

"Ha ha! Very funny dad." I say, rolling my eyes.

"Ronald!" Mom scolds. "That is not something you ask at breakfast."

"Well of course Mione, that's something we save for dinner." Mom rolls her eyes and sighs.

Exasperated, mom tells us, "We're leaving in a minute, grab your trunk and tell your brother."

"Hugo! We're leaving now! Get your arse down here! Now!" I yell up the stairs. I know he's coming when I hear him fall down the stairs.

"I'm okay!" Hugo yells. I laugh at him. He got his clumsiness from our dad. Luckily I only got the Weasley hair. "Not fair Rose!" He yells, crossing his arms.

I'm about to reply when mom says, "You'll grow into your body soon enough Hugo and no laughing at your brother Rose. Now Hugo go with your father and Rose with me." We apparently aren't moving fast enough because mom yells, "Hurry! We'll be late! Let's go!" For as long as I can remember mom has hated being late. As mom is saying we're going to be late, we apparate.
