"Scorpius Malfoy! Get back here!" Rose shouts, gaining speed on me.

"Roseeee... I don't want to go. My plans consist of a pile of books." I defend myself.

"Scorpiuuussss. That's what I want to do but Alice and Albus have pressured me into it. Please come with me." Rose whines. I roll my eyes and sigh. "I'll see what I can do. My books will be upset if I postpone again." I smile and now it's Rose's turn to roll her eyes.

"Just please come. I don't want to deal with people alone." Rose grumbles.

"You owe me." I announce. Rose practically jumps on me.

"Thank you so much Scorpius!" She shouts, running away to her next class. I laugh and keep walking.

                                                         ..................................................

"Ready to go?" Rose draws my attention away from my book. I slowly grab my bookmark and mark my page. I set my book down and look at Rose. I can see that Rose dressed up for the occasion since she isn't wearing her white converse. She's wearing jeans and a dark blue long sleeved shirt.

"You look nice Rose." I say, stretching as I stand up. I did not get dressed up. In fact I dressed down. I am wearing a plain sweatshirt and sweat pants, since I did not want to go.

"You look charming too." Rose smirks.

"Very funny Thorn. Can we go now?" I moan.

Rose just laughs at me and nods.

"So how are you and Travis doing?" I ask, breaking the silence.

"We're doing very good. He got me a new book from the muggle world. It's about Greek gods and stuff like that. It's very good. I'm even thinking about buying the rest of the series while I'm home during Christmas break." Rose answers, swinging her arms back and forth.

"I'm glad you're happy. And I might just steal that book." I respond, keeping my voice steady.  She laughs, ignoring my tense tone thankfully. In a few minutes we are standing in front of the room of requirements. In nine paces the door appears and we enter. I'm met with the shrieking of the Weasley-Potter clan and I immediately regret my decision to come. I could be in the common room reading my night away but instead I'm here with my (extremely loud) friends about to have a good time. It's awful I know.

"Rosee!" Alice shrieks as she makes her way over to us. I raise my eyebrow but don't say anything. They hug but if you were to ask Rose, Alice attacked her from the front. "What took you so long?" Alice asks.

"Well Scorpius here took forever to put his book away when we were leaving." Rose exaggerates the word forever and rolls her eyes.

Alice laughs and responds with, "Looks like the roles have changed. Normally it's Scorpius taking your books away. Kinda ironic right?" Rose whacks Alice's arm, which results in Alice fake crying and making fun of Rose. I shake my head and go find Albus.

"Hey Al." I say, punching him in the shoulder.

"Man Scorp, you need to stop exercising. If you had hit me harder I would've lost my arm." Al mutters, rubbing his arm. I roll my eyes. "What changed your mind about coming? Oh wait, I should ask who instead." Al mocks.

"For your information Rose did. And I didn't have a choice." I reply.

"Why am I not surprised Scorp? I know you like her." Al responds in a childish voice, drawing out the like.

"I like her as a friend Albus." I answer in a monotone. "And you know this."

"Hmm. Do I Scorpius? Do I really?" Al says, imitating my tone. I roll my eyes yet again and let the subject go.

"The real question is did you do your essay for potions? You know Slughorn can tell if you rush."

Al looks at me suspiciously before answering. "It's like you don't know me. My greatest skill is procrastination and I plan on expanding my talent."

"Well you sure do have a talent for complaining." Albus is about to speak, he raises his hand. "And I mean about anything." Albus starts mumbling but suddenly stops.

Albus raises an eyebrow at me and smirks. "Soooo, Scorp, my dear friend, can you explain something to me?" Albus says, raising my suspicion. I keep a blank face.

"So, since you didn't want to come, why did Rose make you? I mean she does have a boyfriend and everything. It's his job to come to her family parties, not yours, no offense. It's just.." Albus pauses, "I mean, it's not like she likes you like that or anything.." Albus winks. I roll my eyes. "Just hear me out, why did she make you come and not Travis?" Al must've seen my glare because he raises his arms in surrender.

"Look it was just a question." Al is smirking.

I take a deep breath and reply. "You know Al, that's a great question. Why don't you ask Rose that yourself, because you know, she's the only one that can answer that question." Al smirks even more if that's possible.

"So-" Albus is cut off by James announcing that we all have to play truth or dare or he will prank us in some way.  I groan, truth or dare is not my thing. Albus grins at me, raising my suspicion. He drags me to where James has announced we will be playing. James has us sit in a circle with the boys sitting on the left and the girls sitting on the right. Albus is on my left and Fred is on my right. James smirks the smirk he gives when he's plotting a prank.

"Okay everyone." James smirks once again. "Boys will ask girls and girls will ask us guys. Got it? Good. I'll start." James turns to Rose. "Is it true that our little Rosie Posie has a boyfriend?" Rose looks at James calmly, which is quite surprising considering she had like five cups of coffee today. "Oh James, James." She takes a breath. "Now last I checked, I told you," Rose drags out her words, "hmm, what was it, last week?" She smirks at James and adds, "if you want your facts you better start paying attention dear cousin." Everyone bursts out laughing at James, for he has a, what do you call it, a surprised expression. I guess I'm going to have fun.
