I sat down watching TV with Batman by my side.. he was waving his tail all excited while I softly caressed his fur

After the incident at Bea's apartment me and her stopped talking.. I would see her sometimes at the elevator but it never went further than a simple hello

I usually saw Alex once a week but he has been just so busy with all the new "exciting" things in the geek world that he just hasn't had time to hang out at my house so I would sometimes go inside the tiny comic book store and see that usual adorable smile

I stood up and got to the fridge to drink some coke when my doorbell rung..

I frowned not really expecting anyone so I went to the door and opened it to see a beautiful suited man with a beautiful face, staring intensely at me

- I went to the other door, but it was an old lady who answered, so I put my bet on this one.. and I was right..

I rolled my eyes - Great.. you know where I live.. now get out of my life - I said closing the door but he stopped it putting a foot in front of it

- Demi, we have to talk.. and you know it - he said quietly as I glared at him

- I have talked too much.. we have nothing to say to each other, now get out or I'll call the cops on you - I threatened

Nick moved further inside and closed the door behind him - Listen, I need to talk to you.. please

I shook my head and he engulfed me in his arms pushing me towards the wall behind me

He pressed his body against mine and took the beverage from my hands placing it on the table next to us.. he then brought his hands to my face and kissed me softly making my heart melt..

A kiss worth a thousand unspoken words.. a thousand feelings hidden..

He caressed my jaw while I deepened it and brought his other hand down, wrapping it around my waist

I pressed my hands against his chest and pulled away a few seconds after - Please stop

- Why? Why do we have to stop? Demi..

- I don't want to be her.. that's exactly what I'll be.. you know that..

- You won't.. you know I'll never leave you

- You don't even know me Nicholas.. you barely know my past and you certainly don't even know who I am or what I'll be

- Demi, we got time.. we think alike.. we both act the same, have the same principles.. everything..

- I don't do romance Nick

- I don't either, but I can't help wanting to do it with you - he told me leaning his forehead on mine

My heart melted at the sound of his voice.. I wanted to let him in but I couldn't.. I shouldn't.. if it all went wrong I would be the one left broken.. I would be crushed..

The question is, how can I push him away when I want him so close..

His lips kissed mine again and his hand moved down towards my breast groping it from under my shirt and bra

My body started reacting to his touch while his other hand went back to my ass to simply stay there

His tongue fought mine furiously for a while until I softly pushed him away so we could move into my living room..

He pushed me towards my couch biting his lip and took out his jacket before he dove back into my lips...

I unbuttoned his shirt as he touched my waist and then pushed it over his shoulders
