People have been trying to get me killed for a week now.. I was trying to figure out what was happening but nothing made sense..

I have been sheltered at Alex's apartment with no phone.. all of this because they once tried to murder me at my own apartment

Batman is with me and since Alex lived on the other side of the town, he was my safest bet

I should've known it wouldn't last long..

It was a dark rainy night.. you could see the lightning flash through the windows.. I was with Batman on my bed when I heard Alex's car enter the driveway

I walked up to the living room and heard the door unlock to reveal Alex in a pure state of fear

Nick behind him

- Fuck! Why did you bring him here?!

- Demi, listen, you're in danger! - Alex shouted - I'm going to get her things

- What the fuck is going on? - I asked watching Alex run to my bedroom

Nick came closer to me and put down his backpack on the table

- Have you ever went to Europe?

- What? No!

Nick pulled out a plane ticket and a fake ID with a picture of me

- You have to get out of here, now! Before it's too late

- Not until you fucking tell me what's going on! - I shouted holding his arm

Nick looked at me and clenched his jaw - My dad wants to fucking kill you.. and because I was fucking protecting you, I wasn't "able to find you".. so he moved my job to another guy

My mouth opened - What? Why does he wanna kill me?

I took my hand away from his arm and  took a step back as the news sank in.. I knew I could never be safe.. anywhere if Paul Kevin Jonas was following me..

So many questions wondered through my mind as I looked back at Nick - Answer me! Why is he trying to kill me?..

Nick took a deep breath - Your dad.. he was his arch enemy..

I was speechless.. Nick stared at me for a while until he finally broke our gaze to take some things out of his bag

- Why only now? - I asked a few minutes later

- We killed everyone on the list that was before you.. he assigned me to kill you..

I leaned onto the back of the couch and start to feel a deep pressure on my chest, along with a bad feeling on my stomach.. my dad?

I knew he had enemies, I just didn't know he was that big of a fuck up to mess with the Jonas Empire

Nick put a hand on my shoulder and I instantly stepped away from him to look at him.. tears in my eyes

- How do I know your good boy act isn't bluff?

I looked around me and picked up a knife from the counter

Nick put his hands up in surrender and clenched his jaw - Demi, I swear I'm just trying to help

- Oh like you helped by getting away from me? Manipulating me? Your definition of help is a little different than mine - I shouted feeling the tears run down my cheeks and falling onto my chest

Alex got inside the room - Wow wow wow WOW! What the fuck is happening here?!

- Back the fuck away Alex! - I warned pointing the knife at him from afar

Nick ran towards me trying to get the knife but I slapped it in his direction making him duck

This was a fight

I was fighting Nick.. trying to hurt him how much he hurt me

I tried to stab him in the belly but he grabbed my arm making me drop the knife

- Fucker

I punched him in the belly and he twisted my arm before letting me go

- Demi I don't want to hurt you! Please stop

I took a deep breath and tackled him onto the ground so I could punch his face

After a few nasty punches he got on top of me and pinned my hands onto the floor

- Stop. Can't you see I'm just trying to help you?

- Fuck you Nicholas.. you're scum just like your entire family

Nick chuckled and got up letting me go - No Demi, fuck you

I sat up and gulped.. just as he was starting to walk I put my foot in front of him making him trip and fall

In a matter of seconds I was on top of him pulling him by his shirt

- Fuck me? For what? Hiding my identity from your stupid father? Trusting you? Loving you? Is that it? - I shouted but just as I spoke someone rang the door

Nick covered my mouth instantly

- They're here.. - he said making me shit my pants

Sorry for taking too long but so much has been happening in my life.. I've just been real overwhelmed with everything
