I walked out towards the street and buried my hands in my pockets.. I have to get food for Batman and money.. an ATM will do..

I walked out to the pet shop and picked up a dog food bag.. I then brought it up to the cashier and took out a one dollar note while she was still looking at some boxes.. just like that, I hid my face from the cameras and walked out with the dog food before she noticed.. stupid store doesn't even have sensors working

I walked out and turned down an alley so she couldn't come after me and then waited for a while..

I then walked back out and smirked.. it hasn't been the first nor second time I have done this..

It sure won't be the last..

I walked up to an ATM and put a fake card in.. I put a code and the thing from where the notes come through opened.. once that happened, I clicked 20$ over and over until I had 120$.. never go above it kids, or the cops will be called

I took out the card and walked away leaving no trace of me ever coming here since I covered the tiny camera with a sticker

I walked up to a comic book shop and finally searched for what I was looking..

- Hi Demi - I heard Alex greet

He was the guy behind the desk at this comic book store.. since I am now a regular here, he eventually got my name.. he was the closest I had to a real friend but all we really did was just talk about comics and him showing me and recommending some

I looked at him and he smiled adorably at me - Hey Alex! What's up?! - I giggled opening my arms for a hug

- Oh.. nothing really - I mumbled

- Yeah, sure.. why don't you go ahead and tell me Santa is real now? - He joked making me laugh

- Well.. I found a guy.. and I'm interested.. - I explained picking up a comicbook

- Hum.. yeah.. you're "interested", like it doesn't show that you're completely head over heels for him - Alex commented doing the air quotes

- I'm not.. you know I don't want a boyfriend! - I mumbled

Alex looked at my comic and shook his head.. he put another in my hand called "Hush"

- Sad to say, but Demetria... you need one - he whispered

- No I don't! I'm independent and I don't need a guy to boss me around! - I told him as we walked to the cashier

I decided not to answer mainly because he was right.. I pulled out two 20$ bills and put them in front of him

- Demi.. you have to find something more than just a fuck boy or you will die alone.. - Alex chuckled - you have to also live that part.. let yourself feel your feelings.. don't just block them and run.. that's what you always do.. - he told me as he grabbed the money and gave me my change - I hope you'll at least introduce me to the lucky guy one day - he giggled putting my comic in a bag

I bit my lip and nodded - Thanks Alex.. - I said making him smile

- You know I love my regular clients - he joked making me laugh

He knew I wouldn't listen to him but he still let me go.. that was Alex.. he always gave me a piece of his mind and he usually was right, but because I was too stubborn, I would never listen

I walked out of the store and into my apartment.. I found my window open, which was weird since I never did leave it open

I put the dog food on the counter along with the comic and closed it.. when I came back, I saw something on the little table in front of my couch

It was Nick's watch and it was on a note..

I smiled reading what he had written.. How the fuck did he know how to get in my house? I've never brought him here..

I grabbed my phone and texted him asking where we were going to meet each other

I don't know if I wanna bring him to my house yet or not.. that would be a big step for me so I decided not to..

He texted me telling me it could be at his house if I wanted.. I gave him an ok and asked him if he wanted me to go fancy or casual

After a few minutes of looking at my phone and not receiving anything, he finally texted me back

- I'm almost never home so I don't think I will be able to show you around.. - I shrugged - Sorry.. but welcome.. - I awkwardly answered

She smiled and I closed the door.. what the hell? No one has ever done this before to me

I put the paper in the trash after saving it on my phone and then got ready for my night with Nicholas
