I woke up to see Nicholas sitting on the bed, his back towards me..

I instantly remembered everything that happened last night..

- Where did you go last night?! - I asked him

He stood quiet. Looking at the clock I see that it's pretty late.. 2pm to be exact.. I must've slept the entire morning through.. but my concerns right now were centered in Nicholas and on what happened last night

- I'm sorry if I did something that pissed you off.. I..

I didn't know what to say.. all the things running through my mind were confusing me more and more.. to the point where I couldn't distinguish black from white..

He scratched the back of his head and cleared his throat - I would appreciate it if you'd leave..

I frowned at him - What?

He stood there quiet for a while.. not understanding what was happening, I sat up on my knees and walked towards him so I could touch his shoulder but as soon as my hand came in contact with it, he stood up not once looking at me

- Why are you being like that? What is happening?..

He scratched his head and then crossed his arms as he looked at the floor - I want you to leave, and never come back ever again.. you have 15 minutes to get ready and walk out my front door, or I will make you do it

- Why?! Why are you suddenly acting like that?

He didn't gave me an answer and in between breaths and thinking, I finally realized I had a huge intense need to sob..

I only realized I was crying when I ran my hand through my cheek.. shock was evident in my expression

- Why.. why are you telling me to leave? - I asked now, trying to disguise the shaking voice coming from deep within my throat

Nick must've noticed because he quickly turned around to look towards me.. he moth in a shocked frown

- Why are you crying?

- I.. I don't know.. I..

Nick stood there and only after really looking into his face I found out he had been crying too.. maybe before I even broke up.. his eyes were still a little watery and his face was deep red still.. he couldn't look me in the eyes and he didn't want to either.. didn't look like he was trying

- This is stupid but.. I.. I think I'm in love with you..

Nick's eyes open wide to stare at me after the words echoed in the room

- What?!

- I..

- No! Don't fucking say it again.. just..

He started to get angry as he paced around.. he looked conflicted.. like there was a war happening inside his head.. why did he want me to leave? Why did I just tell him my true feelings?

- Listen.. you have 10 fucking minutes to get the fuck away from me

I started to get angry myself as he elevated his voice.. it wasn't long until I started screaming and shouting at him

- Why?! Why can't you fucking tell me the reason you want me to leave?! What the fuck did I even do?

- Listen, I don't have to give you explanations.. you are not my partner anymore and you certainly are not my girlfriend..

- Well, if you really want me to leave and run out this door, beware that I am never ever coming back.. Do you understand?

He nodded gulping.. both of us were crying but all I wanted to do was shove him.. he didn't care..
