- Demi, wait! - he shouted just when I opened up his front door to walk out

I walked out towards his gate and he shouted my name once again making me look at the man with only pajamas trousers on..

- Nick, we have nothing to talk about..

- I'm sorry I.. I didn't want to say that.. I don't even know why I said it! - he excused himself but I turned around anyways

He came closer to me and reached towards my shoulder pulling it backwards but I quickly grabbed his arm and tackled him on to the ground

- Don't you dare fucking touch me again.. don't talk to me, don't say my name and if I find out you told anyone my last name I will personally take the guts out of your body - I said before pressing my knee against his neck - Understood?

He struggled but soon the yes came out and I quickly stormed off.. I couldn't believe this would've happen.. we had a fucking agreement and it was going pretty fucking great until "Prince Charming" here started to show signs of what? Affection?

Fucking dumbass!

I soon went back to my old life.. I would mostly hang out with Alex at my apartment since he was the closest thing I had to family

The day I went to him to let it all out for the first time, I got so exalted talking about it that I threw a knife at the ground, almost killing my dog in the process..

Alex's face was priceless that moment

Bea, my neighbor also grew a little closer to me but of course, having the complex mind that I have and my fears, it wouldn't get any closer than just a neighbor

She was younger than me.. and a really outgoing person but at the same time too naïve.. she was constantly making jokes and taking pictures since she was a photographer

She eventually started dating a guy whose name was Frankie, and they seemed to be getting really close

She thought Alex was my boyfriend and would always tease me about it, but he really was only like a brother to me

I walked inside my house with Alex behind me and Batman came to greet me right away.. he was always so excited whenever I got home..

Today was a night to watch superhero movies.. something me and Alex did quite a lot..

- So.. have you met.. anybody? Any love interest?

I sighed putting the popcorn in the bowl - No Alex.. I'll never date anyone.. too much work..

He looked up at me - You seemed pretty in love with the last guy.. Rick? Dick?

- Nick, and no, I wasn't.. he was fun, he caught feelings for me, I peaced out - I sighed

- So, you're trying to tell me that now that it has been an entire freaking month where you haven't seen a single guy, you don't like him and you've never even felt anything for him? - Alex asked picking up a handful

I walked towards the couch and sat next to him - No, Alex.. why are we even talking about him? Geez..

Alex shrugged - Well.. you know Arin right?

- Your best friend?

He nodded - He and his long time girlfriend are getting married.. Can you believe they've met when they were fourteen?! How crazy! They are getting married! - he chuckled

- What about you? - I asked looking at him

He shook his head - I will.. I just haven't found my Suzy like Arin did.. - he mumbled

I chuckled - Don't worry, you'll find her.. - I smirked - If you want I can go as your arm candy to their wedding.. I've always wanted to meet him anyways

Alex laughed contagiously - Wow.. Miss Torres here wants to meet people.. I'm sorry to break the news but.. Arin is getting married - he joked making me laugh and hit his arm

- Stop! I'm not a horn dog like you! - I laugh

- Hey! A guy has needs! Don't insult me for being a guy - he chuckled pulling his hair backwards

- How did you and Arin meet? - I asked curiously

- We met at a video game convention.. I saw that he was the funniest dude I could ever meet in the entire world right when I saw him freak the fuck out about a game of sonic.. it was hilarious.. we became close friends ever since..

I smiled - Still a better love story than twilight

- Any love story is better than twilight my friend - Alex joked making me laugh just when the movie began

For a few days everything was peaceful.. I never saw Nick again and I wasn't planning on ever seeing him again.. although Alex always teased me about him, I never even wished to see him again..

I was now preparing myself to go to Alex's best friend's wedding.. I was excited to go.. to break the routine..

Alex then came to pick me up and we went to the small palace.. it was a very gothic place and for the looks of it all, that was the idea of it all.. the bride looked beautiful with her white dress but her black head piece was what caught my attention..

Later on at night I met her and got to talk a little with her, along with Alex's friend.. they were such a nice couple.. I could tell he was a nerdy guy but a guy you want to stick around..

She was verly girly but in a gothic way.. either way, they both looked adorably happy..

- Dreaming about marrying a certain person one day? - Alex asked me making me shove him

- Shut the fuck up Alex! You know I won't ever see him again and I don't want to! - I hissed rolling my eyes

- Whatever.. just invite me for the wedding okay? - he teased

I rolled my eyes and kept looking at the dance floor
