It has been a few months since I started working for Hydra. Today the train with new equipment arrives. Among the equipment, the ingredient to making the serum perfect. And I must say I am excited must be my bad vampire side.

“Do you think we will succeed?”

“Well maybe... off course you will. You are the smartest person I know.”

“Thank you Peter, you are too kind.”

*sirens*

“What the hell is that?”

Peter got up and grabbed his gun. “We are being ambushed.”

I run as fast as I can to the lab. “Professor what can I do?” That is when I smelled it. It was so fresh I could taste it.

“What is it my dear?”

“Blood.” Was all I could get out. I walked in the direction of the smell whilst the Professor followed me with big curious eyes.

As I got closer the smell got stronger. It took everything in me to keep the urges calm. We went around a bend of one of the mountains and there it was, a male body lying there. The heart beat was so faint he was barely alive. I moved closer to see. I recognised him, James.
His arm was ripped off, his face full of scratches, his clothes are full of tears. He looks dead. If I couldn’t hear his heart I would’ve thought he was dead.

“He is perfect.”

“Professor are you sure?”

“Absolutely my dear.”

I just nodded my head. This serum will save his life, I will let them save him and then I will take him back to the captain. The Hydra soldiers picked him up and carried him back to the lab. They placed him down on the bed and strapped him down.

“Beautiful.” It was just a whisper, but I heard it as clear as day.

I placed my palm against his face. I will save you. I promise.

“Shall we start the procedure?”

“Yes please professor.”

I went over to the fridge and take out the serum and place it on the counter. I mix in the last ingredient. Please let this work.

“May I?”

“Yes off course professor.” I place the syringe in his hand and he moves to James’s side.

“What are we going to about this professor?” I point at the torn up arm.

“We will fix him.”

He inserted the syringe needle into his arm. He begins to spasm, moving around in the bed.

“He is going into shock. Keep him down.”

I placed my hands on his shoulders and force him down on the bed. Please James don’t die. I listen to his heart beat. He is starting to calm down. Thank goodness.
