Chap 12 - Friends stick together.

I'm sleepy... National exams this year. Too much work. T^T Goodnight guys~

Yumi woke up the next morning to see spams from Kyo and Echo. They had somehow found out. She smiled inspire of herself as Kyo was ready to dash to the orphanage at 8am in the morning. Echo afterwards promised that they would drop by together soon(preferably something more reasonable that 8am). Yumi rolled to lie in a comfortable position on her bed before turning on the YouTube application and watching Turp's new video. Yumi giggled as she read through all the comments about the three girls, wondering if she should comment. She decided against it as she closed the app and left the room to go to the hall where everyone was.

She entered to notice the noise level of the room drop. Yumi ignored it however as she grabbed a sandwich and went to the end of the room. Walking along, someone tripped her and she fell. Slowly Yumi just stood up silently, gave the other guy an emotionless look and continued walking. She started eating her sandwich quickly, hoping she didn't have to stay downstairs for too long. Her knees were bleeding slightly but she ignored it. As soon as she was done, she went back to her room. Once again, she just sat on the bed, her arms wrapping around her knees. Hannah, Simon and the others should be arriving in Singapore soon...

Turps stood at the airport gates with his video camera, just waiting for the others to arrive. As soon as he saw them, he started the video, his voice a tone deeper than usual. Hannah ran in to look at Turps.

"Is Lewis and Kim okay? What about Duncan?"

Turps just smiled as he nodded and ended the video. Everyone had already heard of what was happening. The Area 11 crew were all together, silent except for the occasional tease. Sjin was worried as well and it was obvious on his face. They began their journey to the hotel which was actually pretty near.

"So.. Lewis said he wanted to visit her again later, before our YogCon." Turps started to say, wondering if he would get any objection.

Everyone was silent, they didn't know the girl but if it was someone Lewis, Kim, Duncan and Turps all cared about, it would definitely be worth it...

"YUMIIIIIIII"

Yumi almost fell off her bed as she heard the shout rang through the building. She laughed lightly before she shouted.

"KYOOOOO ECHOOOOO"

Two girls dashed into Yumi's room, knocking her onto her bed before all three of them started giggling. They sat on the bed together for a second.

"We will visit you loads and loads till you're tired of us." Kyo said with a grin and Echo nodded.

"In these times you'd want to stick together. Like glue." Echo said, pressing herself to Kyo to simulate that.

Yumi giggled in spite of herself. "You guys are idiots."

Echo laughed and used a fake mature voice. "Now now Yumi, that's not very nice, remember what Mr Lin used to say about respecting your elders and peers?"

They all burst into laughter again, Yumi facepalming as she did so. It was the most fun she had since she found out about having to go back to the orphanage.
