Joakim seemed slightly surprised by my reaction as he took a step towards me and Hannah. I only moved slightly backwards, pulling Hannah with me. Lewis looked at Joakim curiously and then back at me, as if trying to decipher what was wrong. Then, Joakim kneeled down to be about the same height as me, he smiled like I was a scared animal and slowly reached out towards me.
I buried my head further into Hannah's clothes, pulling away from him. Joakim seemed hurt as he took a step back and turned to Lewis.
"Is she normally like this or is this just me?"
Lewis shrugged as he turned to face Kim. Kim looked as Joakim, frowning slightly.
"Talk to her, Rythian."
Joakim nodded as he moved slightly towards me again.
"Hello, I am Joakim but you might know me better as Rythian. Did I do something to scare you?"
I shook my head quickly. Why would he even think that? He was Joakim Hellstrand for gods sake! My heartbeat quickened as I slowly peeked out from behind Hannah.
"Can I hug you?"
He looked around awkwardly, unsure of what was happening but nodded anyways. I ran to him, hugged him as tight as I could, took a deep breath and ran off to Kim. He simply stared as I jumped up and down in front of Kim.
"KIIIM OMG ITS RYTHIAN ITS JOAKIM HELLSTRAND. I TOUCHED HIM. KIM KIM KIIIIIM."
Kim and Sjin burst into laughter as Duncan pouted.
"Why does Rythian get special attention?"
I only just realized that Sjin and Duncan were standing next to Hannah and Lewis by the door. With a glare, I picked a pillow that was randomly lying on the ground (the one Rythian threw at Lewis maybe?) and threw it at Duncan.
Joakim chuckled.
"Well Duncan, I'm just awesome like that.'
I instantly tripped, landing on the ground. Duncan quickly ran over to help me up but I stayed on the ground, burying my head in my knees.
"Whats wrong with you now?!?" Duncan said, his voice filled with exasperation.
I lifted my head, smiling a stupid grin. I could hear Lewis facepalming at my next words.
"He laughed."
