Next chapter will be same scene is Lewis POV. :) Have fun.
I breathed slowly, my eyes glancing around the dark room. It was getting late but I couldn't sleep. Soon I heard the door creaked opened.
"Ethan..."
He seemed surprised as he closed the door.
"Yumi..? Why are you still awake..?"
I stayed silent as he turned to face the wall. Then he let himself fall to the ground, his voice afterwards cold.
"Forget them."
I froze. I didn't say anything as my eyes closed. Yet I stayed awake, cursing softly at myself for not bringing my bag when I decided to run. I was tired. The next morning passed the same way. I stayed in my corner, not moving. Ethan brought dinner home. I smiled as I nibbled at the food before quickly excusing myself to the washroom. As I stood by the sink, I locked the door before emptying the contents of my stomach. I returned to the room, staying at the corner of the room. Ethan gave me a glance before he left the house.
The whole day, I stayed in the same position. I could feel myself getting giddy. Sometimes, I had feelings of free-falling, sometimes, it seemed like the images on the wall were floating off. Time passed. Sometimes it felt like it was too fast, other times, it felt like I was there forever. Soon, it was night again and Ethan was back with dinner.
I ate slightly. The food looked delicious and I was famished. Yet before I had a few mouths, I had to excuse myself to the washroom again and puked everything. I returned to the room to find Ethan simply staring at the food. I sat nearby, wondering what he was doing. I felt like I was slightly sedated and my mind barely comprehended as he suddenly stood up and the bowl of noodles flew towards me. I could see my arm turning red and pain slowly came but I barely noticed as I found Ethan standing before me.
"DO YOU REALLY MISS THEM THAT MUCH?! WHAT ABOUT ME? DON'T YOU CARE?!"
I shook my head quickly, ignoring the pain.
"Ethan-"
He had already left the house, slamming the door behind him. My arms hurt but I didn't say anything. I couldn't feel any emotions really. I was just tired. I leaned against a wall, banging my head against it as I hoped for my mind to clear. No such luck though.
The next day, Ethan was there when I woke up. I was on the ground. I didn't want to stand. It hurt to breath. For a few moments, I wondered if dying would be easier. Maybe then every second of my life wouldn't hurt. I was getting a headache and Ethan was obviously in a bad mood too. Suddenly loud bangs came from the door. Ethan looked scared for a second as he pushed opened the door slowly. I could hear a loud group of people rushing in, mumbles of voices that I could recognise.
Ethan ran back in as he stood in front of where I sat protectively. He started shouting at Lewis, who shouted back. Kim and Hannah were looking at me worriedly as I tried to smile. It seemed quite a lot of people were here.
"Yumi is MY sister!! YOU CAN'T TAKE HER!"
"Your sister?! Look at her!!! Does she look like she wants to be here in the slightest?!"
This were some of the words I managed to make out before I saw Ethan run at Lewis, punching him in the stomach. I slowly stood up, wanting to stop him. Lewis wasn't a fighter. He can't hurt Lewis. Lewis won't be able to...
I watched as Lewis threw a punch back at Ethan. Everyone else was just watching. They knew Lewis wanted to solve this himself. They continued watching the fight.
Then I looked up to see both of them staring at me. In fact, everyone was. I couldn't get it. Then I realized my face was wet. Tears continued to run down but I couldn't get it. I didn't feel that sad. Why was I crying? It just poured down with tears as I swayed at my feet slightly and everyone ran over.
Someone caught me before I fell. It was Lewis. Ethan was right beside me, looking worried. Everyone was shouting but I couldn't make out the words. I tried to catch Lewis' attention by lifting my hand slightly. He noticed as I gasped for breath slightly.
"Lewis.... I can't ... I can't breath... Lewis. It hurts. Lewis help me....."
Then everything went dark.
