So yeah. New chapter to not keep you guys waiting for too long. XD I didn't wanted this to be exactly the same as all the other stories I had read but at same time, I admire all of them so this is something i decided on after much consideration.

There was a short silence on the stage as everyone rested for a while. They knew that their audience would soon be joining them. Everyone was trying to prepare for the array of questions that would soon bombard them and countless photos and videos that would be taken. Well, at least Lewis was relaxed enough, he was as close to his armchair as person could get without being physically fused to it. It had been almost five minutes but Yumi still wasn't back from the washroom and Hannah was starting to get worried.

She quickly asked Kim and Duncan to help look for her, worried that the excitement might have caused another asthma attack or something. Seeing her good friends in distress, Kim nodded as she quickly ran off with Duncan to try and find Yumi. The path was empty as it was a back passage and the entrance was on the other side. Suddenly, a scream came from the corner of the passage and was quickly cut off. Kim and Duncan both looked at each other with shocked expressions before they ran to the end of the corridor but no one could be found...

Yumi's POV

My eyes slowly opened to find myself in a dark room. I used my hand to push myself off the ground, rubbing my eyes slightly as I tried to make out where on earth I was. Suddenly, a male ran out from the shadows, hugging me tightly. Scared, I pushed away from him quickly. The male with dark brown hair looked at me with a hurt expression.

"Yumi.. don't you remember me anymore..?"

My eyes widened slightly.

"Ethan..?"

Ethan grinned as he rubbed the edge of his nose nervously. He had small scars around his face and had already lost most of his childish features but the male I couldn't recognize up till now was no doubt just a teenager, my older brother.

"But... how..? I thought you... but..."

His eyes darkened.

"What did they tell you?"

"Uncle said you went out and got with a bad group! He said you died!! Where were you up till now?!"

Ethan laughed. A cruel, sad laughter that made me cringe.

"Nothing much. He just got angry that I punched him in the stomach so he sent me to a home."

I gasped slightly but Ethan quickly shook his head, his originally messy hair only becoming more of a bird's nest. Ethan grinned.

"Don't worry. I escaped and came here as soon as I could! I'll take care of you."

I smiled weakly. Ethan was a good older brother. He was three years older than me and he would care for me. He got into trouble a lot, he was sometimes rough but he cared. So I always loved him.

"Ethan, but the family I'm with now-"

He gave me a look of incomprehension. I swallowed.

"Can I.. at least tell them I'm okay..?"

He froze in his actions, his eyes softening.

"Yumi.. if you tell them, I'll get sent back to the home. We will never get to meet each other again."

"But the yogs-"

"NO TIME!" Ethan shouted as he grabbed me and began running. Behind, I could hear the sounds of a lot of people talking. Yognaughts. I imagined the voices of Lewis and Hannah being among them. They had probably already started the panel. Maybe Kim would take my place for the day..?

That night, we ran for a long time. I didn't know how long we ran or where my brother's destination even was. All I knew was that I was very very far from home.
