Worried about Gabriel Sam decided to let him stay at his place. The broken old house could hold another person-though it didn't look like it could hold against the wind. Sam told himself to remind Dean to call someone about that. Or one of these times they're gonna come home to find no house.

Speaking of Dean, he and Cas were at it on the couch when Gabriel walked in. Sam wrinkled his nose, "Dean.." Sam cleared his throat, "Dean....Dean!!"

(Sam's POV)

Irritated my brother spun around, glaring. His eyes moved from me to Gabriel. "So you brought your boyfriend home?" Dean jokingly asked.

"He's not my boyfriend." I replied, balling my fists. He didn't seem to take no for an answer. Gabriel mumbled under his breath, marching up the stairs. He looked upset, disowned and betrayed. Dean turned back to me, raising an eyebrow, "You might want to go help your guardian angel."

"Stop kissing yours then."

"Touché."

I climbed up the steps, pushing my bedroom door open. Well, it wasn't really my bedroom, okay maybe it is. Gabriel sat on the edge of the mattress; playing with his hands. "Gabe, I'm sorry." I pouted, almost girl like. His gaze raised from the ground.

"I love you Sam," Tears formed in his dark brown eyes, "You keep pushing me away." My heart sank, I sat beside him, wrapping an arm around his back.

"I'm not trying to make you sad, trust me that's the last thing I want to do. Believe me when I say this, I'm doing it to protect you."

"I don't need to be protected," Gabriel said.

"Every time I get close to someone, they end up getting hurt. Or worse killed. I don't want the same happening to you." The angel pulled away, dropping his hands to his side.

"Sam, It doesn't matter. I love you." I stood up and walked out of the room. He doesn't understand how I feel when I loose someone. If I ever lost him I don't know how I would continue. I loved him so much that I couldn't be with him.

"Sorry, Gabriel. I don't want to loose you." I whispered, right before shutting the door. Instantly, remembering he wasn't human. But an angel. He could go wherever the hell he wanted.

(Narrator's POV)

Cas stared at the wall in deep thought, he hadn't noticed Dean watching him the whole time, "Whatcha thinking about?"

"Hasn't it occurred to you that Gabriel is only acting this way because Sam won't confess how he truly feels," Cas said.

"Well no, I haven't really thought about it."

"Can you guys shut it about Gabriel, okay?" Sam asked harshly.

"Just confess-"

"No, Dean. Just stop worrying about my love life and stick to banging your little angel. I don't need your help." Silence rose between the three, wings flapping filled the room-Gabriel stood at the doorway. His gaze cold as ice.

"Speak of the-" Dean started but he was interrupted by Gabriel.

"Shut it," Gabriel growled at the oldest Winchester.

"You two have to figure something out, if not soon I'm jumping this join." Sam eyed the Arch-Angel.

"I'm going out." Sam added. And left just like that.
