Chapter 26.5: Pain n' Relief

2nd P.O.V

You screeched in pain as it got worse. Tears kept coming down your face. You couldn't sleep. You couldn't eat. You couldn't even drink. The pain for him is getting worse every day and night. Today was supposed to be the day your mating season ends, but sadly, it didn't. You decided to turn into one of your forms, Princess Angelina, daughter of the king of the heavens. The pain went away, but your normal self was still in pain.

(Y/n)'s P.O.V

Princess Angelina is my other form other than Princess Bloodthirst. I sighed and tried to hide the pain with a smile, but the pain ached in my chest. I opened all the doors and windows, well, not all of them. I went outside with Element by side.

"Are you sure about this, (Y/n)? What if it wores off?" She said with a worried expression.

I sighed and looked at the horizon.

"I'm sure, Element...I can't stay inside house too long and not see the outdoors..."

She sighed and went on my shoulder.

"I guess...I do miss the outdoors as well..." She plastered a smile on her face and went back inside my bag.

I chuckled softly and went to the park. I walked around and saw HIM. I panicked and took some deep breaths. I felt the pain in my chest worsened. It felt like I was going to burst. I clutched my head in pain and fell to my knees, screeching in pain. I felt warm hands touch my shoulders. I opened my eyes slightly and saw Adrien. I blushed madly and got trapped in his gaze.

"Are you alright, miss?" He said in that loving voice.

I missed his voice, but I couldn't risk loosing him. I cried and ran away from him, hearing a faint 'Wait!' as I ran. It started to rain as I stood in front of the Eiffel Tower. I fell to my knees again and cried.

'Why me? Why me?? WHY ME?!'

I yelled in my head.

'Why did it have to be me? I can't even be with my friends, or anyone!! Why must it be me?'

I took a deep breath and stood up, closing my eyes in the process. I mumbled a few words and casted the spell on myself. I opened my eyes slowly and felt the pain slowly ease. I sighed slightly and walked home, but only to get stopped by a certain cat.

"What is a fair maiden like you doing out here in the rain~?" He said in a flirty voice.

'Is he flirting with me? Does he do this with all damsels in distress?'

I felt anger slowly boil inside me, but my form kept it hidden.

"I should be asking you the same, Mr. Minou" My form said cheerfully.

"Minou?! I am not a minou!" Chat complained.

I giggled and smiled at him. He picked me up on his back and jumped from the rooftops. I tightened my grip on him, as I felt myself almost slipping off. He chuckled and I felt him smile slightly.

"I wish I could do this with (Y/n)...I miss her so much...this girl kinda reminds me of her a bit..."

I read his mind without any intentions to. I smiled and saw my form wore off. I didn't feel the pain in my chest anymore. I felt normal. I didn't feel an urge to want him anymore.

"...A...Adrien?..." I said weakly.

I felt him stiffened underneath me.

"A-Adrien? I-I-I'm not him!" He stuttered out nervously.

I giggled and went near his ear.

"You don't remember me, minou~" I said in my sweet voice.

He came to a halt and set me down, then pulling me into a hug, crying on my shoulder as the rain poured above us.

"I missed you so much!!" He exclaimed and let out a soft sob.

I chuckled and hugged him back, petting his ears and hair. He purred softly on my neck, making me laugh.

"T-T-That...t-t-tickles, Adrien!!" I said through my laughs.

He chuckled and I felt him smile.

"And I missed that too..." He gave me a soft, weak smile.

I returned it and hopped onto his back.

"Get me home already, chaton" I said as I yawned tiredly.

He laughed and took me home. We landed on my balcony and opened the door. I got off his back and laid on my bed, letting out a heavy sigh.

"Is something wrong, mon loup?" He asked with concern.

I chuckled and gave him a smile. I jumped off my bed and embrace him in a tight hug.

"I'm just happy to see you again..." I said in a low voice.

He hugged me back and I felt him smile with his eyes closed.

"I feel the same, (Y/n)..." He whispered ever so softly.

I smiled and closed eyes slowly, taking in his scent and hearing his heartbeat as it sooth me to sleep.

2nd P.O.V

Chat noticed you fell asleep and picked you up, placing you on your bed gently. He pecked your forehead softly and walked over to the balcony door. He turned back to look at you and smiled. He walked out the door and closed it as he left. You smiled in your sleep as he left. Chat went to the Eiffel Tower and saw Ladybug.

"Ladybug!" Chat exclaimed happily.

Ladybug turned around and got tackled to the ground by Chat. Chat hopped off of her and helped her up, laughing nervously while scatching the back of his neck.

"S-Sorry about that, but guess what?!" He exclaimed excitedly like a little child.

"What is it, Chat?" She asked with concern and confusion.

"(Y/n)'s off of her mating season!!" He exclaimed happily.

Ladybug froze and tears fell from her face slowly. She blinked and smiled happily.

"L-Ladybug? You alright?" Chat asked.

She wiped her tears away and nodded slowly.

"Can I see her?"

Chat shook his head slowly.

"She's asleep at the moment..."

Ladybug sighed and said her goodbye as she left with a smile. Chat took a deep breath and went home afterwards.
