Bill Denbrough
You were walking home one afternoon from another bland day at school. At first you happened to be content just cruising along the sidewalk and listening the the leaves on Derry's trees rustle. But soon, about halfway into your long walk, you became bored. So you began to recite a poem you had learned earlier today in English class.
" A sunbeam to warm you." You glanced up at the bright ball of light in the sky and squinted.
"A moonbeam to charm you." And right before you could finish the last line, a boy's soft voice interrupted you. Completing the short poem. Or almost, at least.
"A sheltering angel so nothing, c-c-ca-can ha-ha-harm y-y-y-y......Aww shit!" Looking just across the road you saw him, wheeling his bike that had the word "silver" etched into it.
"I know him. It's the boy with the stutter that always gets picked on by Bowers. Its sad, they all seem so nice. Was his name Bob?? No, that's not it. Bill? " You tried your best to recall his name and settled on Bill. It just felt right.
"Hey! Bill!" Thankfully, the brunette boy turned his head to face you, meaning you got his name right.
"H-h-hi." He replied a bit quietly, you could barely hear his voice.
"I'm (y/n). Don't be ashamed of your stutter! I think it makes you adorable." You smiled broadly at Bill and he looked down. You both continued walking down the sidewalk on oppostie sides of the road.
"Thank y-y-you (y/n)." He grinned in your direction and you immediately wanted to make this boy smile more often.
"Maybe I'll see you around this summer??" You looked at him hopefully. Was this weird?? I mean, you did barely know him. But he seemed so sweet and kind.
" Yeah y-y-ou probably... OW!!" Bill walked right into a tree that was planted at the end of the sidewalk he reacted quickly and swooped in to save his bike from crashing. Rubbing his forehead, you giggled.
"See ya later cutie! If you need me come find me!!" You made a turn at the end of the block and headed straight for home. Leaving the flustered boy with a blush on his cheeks and a stunned expression.
"She thinks I'm c-c-cute." He said to himself before smiling the whole way home, thinking of how much more amazing this summer was gonna be with you.
(Okay damn this was kinda long. BTW I wanted to use the words that Bill was reciting in the movie while walking home, before his dad yelled at him. But I couldn't remember😭 So I used something else instead. Should I do ones for the others? I have a good idea for Stan :) Lmk guys, I'll be updating quicky and as fast as I can.)
