Eddie Kaspbrak
*Ring ring*
The bell above the door jingled as you sauntered into the drug store.
"🎶Come on Eileen, oh I swear what he means. At this moment, you mean everything🎶." You sang along softly to the tune that was blaring into your earphones from your old walkman.
You walked straight towards the "feminine products" section, paused your song, and scaned the shelf.
"Okay, Okay. So pads right?? Ughh but those feel weird! Maybe a tampon then. But do I really want that thing inside me?? That might feel even worse!" You argued with yourself silently and to pulled out your earphones to give it one last thought.
"Oh whatever. If it slows the flow, I'm good I guess. My week's almost up anyway." You settled on a small box of cheap tampons and spun on your heel towards the cash register.
"Can we a-a-afford all that ?"
"This is all we got."
"Are you kidding me?!?"
You peeked down on of the aisle were the sounds were coming from and was greeted with sight of three boys, around your age, holding a few crumpled dollars in there hand. You didn't know if you were staring for a while, because eventually they all looked in your direction. Quickly, you glanced down and blushed.
"A-a-are you okay??" The taller brunette boy asked.
"Oh! Yeah I'm fine sorry. I just couldn't help but overhear you and your...friends. Is everything alright with you guys?" The shorter boy holding a ton of medical supplies in his hand spoke up.
"There's a kid outside that looks like somebody killed him." The two others gave him a weird glare.
"Eddie!"
"What?! It's true and she asked!" He backed up slightly and looked back at me. He's cute...
"We need some stuff, but w-w-we don't have e-e-enough money." The boy with with the stutter gave me a nervous look and I smiled.
"Leave it to me." A mischevous smirk replaced the wholesome grin that was previously on your face. You moved swiftly down to the fartherest aisle from the door. Once you saw the glass bottles of medication, you giggled.
"I've always wanted to try this." You thought before placing your hands on the shelf and shoving off half the liquid medication. It landed with a loud "BANG" on the floor and glass shattered everywhere. The pharmicist made his way over fast and gave me a stern look.
"Oh my gosh! I'm soo sorry! My mom needed medicine for her cold and I accidently knocked down the....whole stock." You gave him your best remorseful look and thankfully he fell for it.
"It's fine just get me the broom from the storage closet, I trust you're not going to break or steal anything else." He got down on his knees and began to pick up the glass pieces after giving me the directions.
"I won't, I promise..... Or at least I won't be." You thought the last part silently to yourself. As you went back around the aisle you motioned for them to leave. The boy with the stutter and the curly haired blonde one bumped into each other and knocked something else down on their rush to the door. The short one, Eddie, looked at you one more time.
"Thanks again....."
"(y/n)." You told him with your bright smile once again plastered on your face.
"(y/n). Pretty name for a beautiful girl." He blushed wildly, a crimson red, while rushing out the door.
You listened to the jangle of the bell and watched through the glass window as he made his way down the street.
"Eddie." You thought to yourself before waltzing happily into the storage closet to retrieve the broom.
"He was so worth it."
(Okay so I pretty replaced Beverly with you and left out the whole flirting with the old guy part cause that's weird. But I hope you enjoyed! I'll be finishing all the losers this week hopefully💟)
