Something must've gone wrong in my brain
Bill woke up to sound of birds chirping outside his window. He groaned and slowly pulled himself out of bed. His short brown hair was sticking up and he could barely open his eyes. School never was a problem for Bill, but getting up was always a hassle. The Denbrough boy made his way towards the bathroom and started dressing for the day. He brushed his teeth, washed his face, and attempted to comb down his hair. After everything was done, he took some time to glance in the mirror. That's when he felt a slight burning on his wrist that made the rest of his arm tingle. Bill quickly looked down and saw a small planet tattoo forming on his hand.
Got your chemicals all in my veins
He laughed lightly to himself. Seems as though his soulmate was bored again. Lately, whenever writing or art would appear on his wrist, it was either in the form of hearts of the words "nothing to do" . Bill often wondered what his soulmate's life was like. She obviously liked to draw, but he had a craving to know more about her. They were destined to be together after all, the suspense of discovering who she was killed him. But he figured when the time was right, they'd find one another.
Feeling all the highs, feeling all the pain
After breakfast with his parents, Bill walked outside to his bike and rode to school. This air was cold and he could see his own breath. When he arrived at the bike rack sitting just before the school's front doors, the other Losers ran up to greet him.
"Hey Big Bill! What's crack a lackin'?" Richie playfully nudged his shoulder and adjusted his glasses.
"You're usually here earlier. Something come up?" Eddie appeared on his left and gave him a concerned look.
"R-r-relax Eds. I'm r-r-really only five m-m-minutes late." Bill walked forward and went to greet Stanley, who was standing with Beverly and Mike.
"Wonder what's going on with him." Eddie narrowed his eyes, as if trying to read Bill from afar.
"Don't worry your pretty little head Eddie Spaghetti. Now c'mon! Can't miss class!" Richie tossed his arm over the smaller boy's shoulders and happily skipped towards their friends.
Let go on the wheel, it's the bullet lane
Inside the building, the sound of lockers slamming shut and teenagers yelling filled Bill's ears. He headed through the mass of people with the Losers not far behind him. It felt as if he was mindlessly walking towards nothing. All he could think about was what his soulmate was doing right now. The thought of her just wouldn't leave him alone today. Hell, she never left his mind alone ANY day.
