You were at the mall today on behalf of your best friend. Originally, you wanted to stay home and binge Stranger Things all day (SINCE SEASON TWO IS ALOMST HERE)! But she convinced you come out and do a little shopping. I guess Mileven and Will Byers were just gonna have to wait a while....

" (y/n)! Let's look in here! I wanna see if they have this video game my brother wanted. His birthdays coming up so I have to get him something anyway." She tugged your hand and pulled you through the doors of the store.

In the beginning, you stayed around the entrance waiting for her to get what she needed. It started to get awkward though as more people started filing into shop. So you set off to find (y/bf/n) and ask her how much longer she'd be. Maybe then you could go to the food court and watch Netflix (even though you always ate Eggos while watching ST). You couldn't find her anywhere through the crowd, but you did see a nice pair of headphones just sitting on the rack. You made your way over to them and reached out to grab it. Unfortunately, someone else did as well.

"Oh, were you going to take these?" His hand was still on top of yours as you both refused to let go of the box.

"Yeah I kind of was actually." You shot the blonde boy a smile and attempted to pull it away from him. But his grip on your hand only tightened.

"So was I." He gave you a sly smirk and you narrowed your eyes slightly.

"Well I had my hands on them first. Therefore I should be the one to get them." 

"No way! I was here way before you darling." Now you were both smiling at one another, enjoying this little game you had going on.

"Okay, okay Noodles. Let me have them now, my patience is running out." You tapped your foot for extra affect, but he simply laughed at your silly nickname for him.

"It's Wyatt. But if I let you have it, I may never get the chance to talk to you again!" A blush crawled onto your cheeks and you tucked your face away to the left. Just so "Wyatt" wouldn't see anything....

 "Well Wyatt, I'm (y/n). And whose to say I was never going to talk to you again??" You put your hands on your hips and tilted them slightly to one side. He smiled at you again, showing of his pearly white teeth for all to see.

"How's this..... I'll let you have them. But I need your number and a lunch date in return." You tapped your finger against your chin pretending to be in deep thought. He rocked back and forth on his heels and whistled the song that was playing through the store.

"Hmmmm.....I mean I guess so then. But you have to buy lunch and the headphones for me."

"Deal."

"Cool, you wanna get food now then? I'm starving." He linked his arm with yours and you both waltzed to the cash register. After he bought the item for you, he took you to the food court for a very romantic meal. 

Wyatt Jess Oleff was hilarious and you couldn't stop smiling the whole time. He was perfect as well! Sweet, handsome, considerate, friendly, funny........You name it! He ended up getting actually getting your number and he held your hand over the table the whole time. In fact, you were so caught up in this little "date", that you didn't notice your phone going off in your back pocket.

Best Friend💕🖕: Oh wait I see you in the food court....

Best Friend💕🖕: Are you with a guy? Who is that?

Best Friend💕🖕: Wait a minute......
