A/N: For everyone who's wondering who Jack Harries is, I posted a gif of him in the media box. He plays Raph by the way :)

DEMI'S POV

"Fuck!" I cussed out as the hot blowdryer fell to the ground with a loud thud. My cheek feels like its burning to seventy degrees even though my reflection in the mirror shows otherwise. As painful as the hot air from the blowdryer feels, my cheek has only reddened and no major damage has been done to my skin that's too alarming.

My clumsiness has gotten the best of me this morning as I plugged in the blowdryer with it on maximum heat while it was pointed to my face. I was too caught up with finishing up as quickly as possible that I didn't even bother to check whether the blowdryer was on or not before I inserted it into the socket.

Now, here I was... Sitting infront of my dresser in my denim shorts and ACDC shirt with damp hair and flaming cheeks, having only ten minutes before the bus arrives at the bus stop.

I decided to just forget about drying my hair and let it fly wild and free. I unplugged the bloody dryer from the socket and grabbed my concealer from the drawer and dabbed a decent amount on my face, just enough to cover the newly-made blemish.

I hurriedly dashed through the floor to my closet and grabbed the first pair of shoes I could find, in this case: a pair of black Vans. I swiftly pulled it over my feet, one after the other, then I grabbed my leather jacket and bag before rushing my way downstairs. I charged straight out the gate and into the sidewalk, speed-walking to my destination.

A few houses later, I saw  the bus sign at a distance and much to my relief, the public transport was still parked at the side of the street, still waiting for passengers. Lucky me.

I hurried my steps, breathing heavily to fill some air into my lungs. Damn, this early on to my day and I was already breathless and tired from all this hustling.

As I neared the bus, I hastily ran my fingers through my tangled hair before stepping inside. I took my place on the first seat that I could find, which was the one on the third row to the left, considering it was the only seat that was empty at the moment.

The driver started the engine as he closed the automatic doors and the bus started moving forward. Before the bus could completely take off, the break halted again, earning several groans from passengers that were in a hurry, including me. Why the fuck did we stop?

The driver ignored our complaints and opened the door, where a familiar mop of curls popped inside. The string of misfortunes that I wad experiencing this morning just kept adding on as Harry, in his constant black ripped jeans and his plain white tee, climbed inside the bus. Oh God, could this day get any worse?

He looked like his usual self, the only slight change was that his black eye was now nothing but a mere pink mark above his cheek. He found my gaze and out of impulse, my head snapped to the direction of the window. I stared mindlessly at the unmesmerizing view of our neighborhood as I pretended that I didn't see him. Please tell me he didn't... just please.

My question wasn't left unanswered as I felt another body sit beside me, "Demi," his deep and husky voice rang through my ears. Great. This day just got worse.

I continued to stare through the thin glass enclosing the windows, keeping my focus on the suburban-looking houses as I ignored him.

"Demi, can we talk about last night? I-i want to explain what happened," he said to me, the tone of his voice pleading. I don't need his explanations, I've already talked to Nick and Nick's words are all I needed to hear. The memory of him pinning Nick on the counter at the bar last night and how he darted Nick with insignificant accusations was still fresh in my mind and it only infuriated me everytime he spoke. Adding all the shit that I just went through this morning, there was no fucking way I was going to talk to him. I was not in the mood.
