Ashton
"Why did no one tell me? Shit!" I cursed pulling at my hair. This explained why she was upset and didn't want to tell me.
"I thought you knew. When I found out, I talked to her and she smiled and said it was fine." Calum shrugged like it was nothing. It was something.
"Well she lied. Dammit." I said hurrying up to my room. I opened the door quietly and saw Cass asleep on my bed. I shut the door behind me and laid next to her and pulled her into my arms. Her eyes were slightly red and damp. She was crying.
"Ashton?" She said waking up. Her voice was weak like someone had completely knocked her down. It made me sad seeing her like this.
"I'm here babe. Don't worry." I said stroking her hair as tears left her eyes again.
"Why are they so mean?" She asked. It wasn't like she was asking me though. It was like she was begging to know.
"I don't know but it's just the way it is. You shouldn't stoop to those people. They're just jealous and you're better than them. Just remember Cass, I will always -" I was saying but she quickly got up and threw one of my shirts on.
"I'm going out." She said leaving without a glance back.
"-love you." I sighed finishing my sentence even though it didn't matter. She was already gone. I hope she'll be careful. She wasn't always the best out alone. But I knew going after her wouldn't solve anything. Why not? Well here:
There's many things to learn about Cassidy Elizabeth Brooke.
1. Never tickle her. She hates it. I still do it though.
2. She never had a great family life. Her parent's divorced when she was only nine and they put her in the middle of it all. Her dad was overpowering and her mom was vindictive. Her older brother never helped anything. He just ran away and she hasn't heard from him since.
3. For all I've known her she's never had a boyfriend, first kiss, and I'm pretty definate she's a virgin too.
4. She has a loud mouth and tends to curse sometimes as a joke. It's just her way of speaking her mind.
5. She does drink and has smoked before. She doesn't much anymore.
6. She was picky. She didn't like a lot of things.
7. She was torn. Not broken or bent, but she was hurt.
8. No one could stop her once her heart was set. That's why going after her was never good. I went after her once or twice before and no one heard from her for a month. She left town and disconnected herself.
I'll admit I need her. She was always something different to me. Something special...
