Ashton
I chased after her and when she turned right by a tree I turned after her and she disappeared. She hid. Cassidy was always great at hide and seek. A pro, even.
"Cass!" I called out walking and looking around. I checked behind a few trees but it was all silent. I heard giggling but there was no sight of her. She wasn't even in the trees.
I finally got out of the trees to one of the fields when there was a scream and I was tackled to the ground. I pushed the attacker off of me and pinned them to the ground. Cassidy laid there laughing and I couldn't help but wonder what was going through her head.
Things got quiet between us as the laughter settled down. I knew I probably should have gotten off of her but I could'nt bring myself to it. I would've expected a snide remark from her threatening me but I got nothing. She just stared up at me with no expression on her face at all. I began to lean in. I was going to kiss her. I hovered right above her lips and I could feel her breathing.
'Ash.." She whispered sounding out of breath, with a slight nod. I took that as my cue and it happened. I kissed her. My her lips moved softly against mine but she pulled away quick as there was a sound of thunder cracking.
"Oh my god." She said moving out from under me quickly. She hugged her knees tight, frightened. I would've felt offended but I knew what this was about.
"Cass, relax. It's just thunder." I said moving over to her. She wasn't a fan of storms. She glared at me before gasping as rain began to pour down on us fast. She shrieked and I couldn't help but laugh at her.
"Ashton, I hate the rain." She stood up looking around for a place to run off to so she would'nt get wet.
"Let's go. We can get back to our place in like five minutes." I stood taking my jacket off and raising it over her head.
"Who's smart idea was it to walk anyways?" She yelled over the rain as we walked up the path until we reached a sidewalk towards mine and the boys place.
"The boys took the car out and I just thought it'd be nice to walk because it was sunny. I didn't know it was going to rain." I defended myself.
We walked for about seven minutes before reaching my place.
Cassidy
By the time we walked in my teeth were chattering. I was cold and I knew Ashton must've been worse since he had given me his jacket.
"Cass you're shaking. Get in the shower and I'll order something." He shook slightly as he grabbed his phone.
"What about you?" I asked worried and he smiled placing a kiss on my forehead.
"Just go. I'll be fine. There's two showers in the house for a reason." He shoved me slightly to the stairs and I only smiled and went up.
After my shower I was stuck in there as I screamed out to Ashton.
"Ashton! I need clothes and a towel!" I yelled poking my head out of the shower curtain.
"You know where they are. Help yourself." I heard him say from nearby.
"But I forgot a towel and I'm not leaving this bathroom naked!" And he soon walked in with a smirk on his face.
"I wouldn't mind if you did." He laughed handing me a towel and setting some clothes on the counter.
I wrapped the towel around me and stepped out of the shower and Ashton pulled me into a hug.
"What are you doing?" I asked pulling away and reaching up as I pushed his wet hair to the side. He was shirtless and in a pair of shorts like he usually is while hanging out.
