Irises

you were a lovely blue.
now a dark grey.
i tried to help you.
i tried to return your blue.
but you wouldn't let me.
so you left me alone.
to rot in your deadly grey.
my mind wonders to harmful thoughts.
i needed help.

i needed someone to pull me out.
no one hears me, no one cares.
now i can't remember my last thoughts.
everything is now cluttered.
i was a radiant blue, that was bright enough.
to share with you.

now i'm a blank grey.
i need saving too.
