Chapter 13

Colby's POV ;)

"You two have to kiss."

I felt Violet tense beside me.

If looks could kill, he'd be 1,525 feet under right now.

"Are you serious?" I asked Elton. Luckily, the others were too busy having fun to notice our little interaction.

"I am one hundred percent serious." He said with a straight face.

"We kinda keep our kisses to ourselves, dude. We don't kiss because someone says we have to." I snapped at him.

"Fine, I'll just tell everyone that you guys really aren't together." He replied, stroking his beard.

I swear I'm going to cut it one day.

"Elton, you kno-" I got cut off by Violet.

"Fine." I snapped my head over to Violet. She turned to me and said,
"I'd be glad to kiss my boyfriend."

Her face looked nonchalant but her eyes held pure anger. I realized I had no other choice than to kiss her. 

I sighed. "Well, you win this time, Elton." I said, trying not to show my anger. I looked Violet in the eyes, and leaned in.

Violet's POV

"Fine." I stated boldly. I knew Elton wouldn't leave us alone if we didn't kiss.

Colby snapped his head over to look at me so fast, I feared he might break his neck. I met Colby's eyes with my own and said, "I'd be glad to kiss my boyfriend."

I tried to keep a calm face as Colby stepped closer to me. Colby held my eyes as he said, "Well, you win this time Elton."

Butterflies erupted in my stomach as Colby raised his hand and cupped the back of my neck. He leaned in and met his lips with mine.

It was soft and passionate but fully fake. It also felt amazing. The kiss lasted about two seconds before Colby pulled away, but the tingles stayed on my lips. All the warmth in my stomach still resided there.

Beside us, Elton burst out in laughter. Me and Colby looked at him, wondering why he was laughing so hard.

Through the high-pitched laughs, Elton made out one sentence that made me furious.

"Y- you know that I was j-joking right?"

All I could do was stare at him and wish that he was 500 feet away from me.

"Really dude? You made us share a kiss in public even though we didn't want to?" Colby said with the exact amount of anger I have.

"It was your fault you two fell for it. I knew you guys were a couple."

My anger grew by the second but I couldn't lash out, it would make Elton suspicious as to why I was so opposed to kissing Colby.

"Anyway, I'm going to leave you two lovebirds. It looks like they're playing spin the bottle. Sayonara!"

"Ugh! I don't like him." I stated.

"Yah, me too. Well, for today that is." Colby said.

Colby glanced at my face and furrowed his eyebrows.

"What's the matter with you?" He asked.
I looked away from him. I couldn't look him in the eye after what happened.

"Violet, look at me."

"No."

"Come on, it was just a simple ki-" He cut himself off as his eyes grew wider.

"Wait, that wasn't your first kiss was it?" He questioned.

My face grew red and hot. He guessed correctly.

"Crap, Violet, I'm sorry. Should I make it up to you? What do you want me to do?" He said.

"Colby, I don't-" I cut myself off as a plan formed in my head.

"Actually, you can do one thing." I teased.

He sighed unhappily. "What is it?"

"Why don't you follow me?" I said, smirking.

I led him over to the sink and filled up my empty cup with water. I turned to face him and looked him dead in the eye.

"I want you to walk out in front of them." I said, then I dumped the water on his pants. And guess what? It looked like he peed himself. Fortunately, everybody else was too occupied to notice Colby's outburst.

"What the heck, Violet?" He complained.

"I'm going to go out there and you are going to follow a few seconds after. This is for embarrassing me on your video."

Mission accomplished.

I brushed past him and walked into the living room.

A few hellos were said as I joined their game of Go Fish (the guy with the man bun's idea). They finished Spin the Bottle a few minutes ago.

Out of the corner of my eye, I could see Colby swiping furiously at his pants, trying to dry them.

Finally, he gave up. Corey, I think that's his name, was the first to notice Colby.

"Dude, what happened to you?" He said very loudly.

Everyone's head turned to Colby.

"Um, I just- uh...." Colby struggled to find the right words.

"Did you... pee your pants?" Elton asked. As for me, I enjoyed watching Colby squirm with embarrassment.

That's for all those times you were unfair to me.

Everyone tried not to laugh as Colby shuffled to his room. But, because I didn't want Colby's friends to actually think he did pee himself, I got everyone's attention.

"Guys, he didn't actually pee his pants. It's just water. I spilled it on him and made him come out here in front of you guys." I whispered.

A few snickers could be heard around the room.

"You are the best girlfriend ever." A tall guy with a baby-ish voice said. (Sorry Aaron.)

I chuckled. "I want everyone to pretend that I didn't say anything. Just know that it's water."

I heard multiple ok's.

Colby came back out in a new pair of pants. Red is still visible on his face from before.

"Hehe, hey." He said.

"Did you have fun changing your pants, Colby?" Elton teased.

"Shut up before I punch your face in." Colby threatened.

Colby's eyes met mine and I pulled my lips up into a triumphant smirk. Colby scowled at me. Hah.

Violet: 1 Colby: 0
