**Bailey's POV**
I wake up late this morning, so late that Two-Bit is already at work. As always, there's hope that my morning sickness finally decided to fade away, but the turn in my stomach says otherwise. I barely make it to the bathroom.
I throw up a few times before I clean myself up and change for the day. After putting on an oversized sweatshirt and leggings, I decide it's time to go to the clinic to get some medicine.
Since Two-Bit took the car, I have to walk the few miles to the office. I considered calling someone with a car, but even then, that would come with questions as to why I needed to go to the doctor's in the first place, so I avoided the whole thing.
When I walk into the doctor's office, I head to the front desk to check in for an appointment. The lady is really nice and gives me a lollipop.
I turn and sit until I'm called.
I'm called back by a middle-aged nurse in pink scrubs. She leads me to a room that looks like baby decorations threw up on it. She has me change into a gown that really shows off the baby bump, and for the first time, I smile down at the little human I'm carrying.
The nurse comes back with a clipboard.
"So what are we seeing you about today?" She says in a cheery voice.
"Well, I've had morning sickness for about 2 months."
"Okay, do you know whether or not you are pregnant?" she asks me.
"Yes, I am," I reply.
"Is this your first appointment with us?"
"Yes," I say.
She scribbles something onto her clipboard, then leads me down a hall into a room with a big machine. She has me lay down while she goes and gets a doctor.
"Hi, I'm Dr. Kyle!" He says as he comes in. "So from what I've heard, you missy are pregnant. You're actually 3 months along."
I nod nervously.
"Well, we're going to look at this baby in there - though it's too early to tell gender - because we want to make sure the child is growing properly," the doctor says. I lay on my back and he puts some cold goo on my tummy.
"Well," he says after a few minutes of pushing the machine around my stomach, "everything seems great! Looks like you're set up to deliver near the end of May. If you could sit up and redress, then meet me out in the lobby to schedule another appointment, that would be great!"
He leaves the room, followed by the nurse. I redress myself, then head out to the lobby and find the doctor standing behind the front desk.
"So we'll need you back here in about a month to do some more routine check-ups, as well as figuring out the gender! And, because you're underage, we do ask that you bring a parent or guardian with you to your next appointment," he says. "Would you like to look into getting some morning sickness relief medicine?"
I nod my head
"We do have some, but in order to get a prescription, we're going to need to get a parent or guardian's signature," the doctor looks up at me while he says this. I gulp.
"Would you like to call them down here so you can go home with the medicine?"
I try and decide. I'd need Darry's signature to get it, which seems like such a scary idea I feel sick, but I really don't want to do anymore throwing up as it is.
"Yea, could I call someone?" I ask. The doctor hands me a phone and I dial the Curtis house.
"Hello?" Darry asks from the other line.
"Hi Darry, it's Bailey!" I say. "I need you to do something for me."
"Bailey, you know I love you, but I really can't right now, I have the whole gang here..."
I shudder. Tonight's the night we all planned a giant sleepover at the Curtis house.
"Darry, please? I'm at the doctor's office and I really need you here right now," I plead.
"Okay, I'm on my way," he says and hangs up. I nod to the doctor and sit down in the waiting room.
After about 5 minutes, Darry shows up.
"Bailey, are you okay?? I've been worried the whole drive here," Darry says. I nod and take a deal breath.
"I just need your signature for some medicine," I explain. I lead Darry over to the doctor, who smiles.
"You're her guardian?" he asks. Darry nods.
"So what kind of medicine am I signing off for?" Darry asks, taking the pen and signing at the bottom of a sheet.
"Morning sickness medicine," the doctor says. Thankfully Darry finished his signature before the doctor said this because he drops the pen.
"Bailey!?" he yells. I grab the medicine and then take his arm and pull him out to the parking lot so he won't disturb the whole office.
"Care to explain?!" he fumes. I take a deep breath.
"Okay, I'm pregnant, but please don't tell anyone! I haven't told a soul and I really don't think they should find out from you," I say, the desperation clear in my voice. Darry takes a deep breath before nodding. I begin to tear up.
"Darry, I'm so scared. Two-Bit doesn't even know and I'm afraid he'll be like Dallas.." I cry. Darry grabs me and pulls me into a hug.
"Bailey, you know you need to tell him," Darry says. I nod against him.
"Let's get back. Do you need a ride?" he asks me.
"Yeah, I walked here," I say. We walk to the car and I climb in the passenger seat.
It's dead silent the entire way home.
