2 MONTHS LATER

**Alex's POV**

Even though not a lot has happened, the last two months have been pretty crazy for everyone.

Bailey is due in a little over a month, so she can't really do much with us anymore unless we hang around the house. It's kind of nerve racking to be around her, though, because she looks like she's gonna pop if you touch her. Plus, she's cranky all the time, and the baby really could come at any point after next week. Thankfully, Two-Bit should be home by her due date, so she'll be his responsibility for a while.

Victoria, who's due in about 3 months, hasn't said a word to Johnny since the day they broke up. I love her so much, and I know what she's going through is tough, but it's a little pathetic at this point. She's the one who dumped him, and he's pretty much already moved on - he has a new girlfriend. They've only been together for a couple weeks, but she's keeping Johnny happier than he's been in a long time. Don't tell Victoria or Lauren, though, because neither of them know he's dating someone else.

Speaking of Lauren, her and Darry have really been suffering since they found out the news about their baby. She's due in about 4 months, but it barely looks like she's pregnant. It almost looks like she had a really big dinner instead of being 5 months pregnant.

My pregnancy, though, is going great. I'm officially 2 months along, and I even have a few ultrasound pictures of baby Winston. I'm not showing or anything yet, but honestly, I can't wait to start having a baby belly.

Dally and I are at our happiest. He doesn't know about baby Winston yet, mainly because I wanted to wait until it was official, and now I'm really just waiting for the right time. I know he'll be excited, I'm not worried about that - he keeps talking about adding to our family and how much he wants a baby that he made. It's seriously the cutest thing ever.

**Ponyboy's POV**

(this part contains sex, so if you're uncomfortable with that, please don't read!)

"Ponyboy!" I hear Jess yell from her bedroom. I grunt and stand up off the couch and jog down the hall to find her sitting at her desk, glasses on, hair pulled up.

"What's the square root of 879, times the imaginary root of -324, put into derivative form?" she asks, tapping her pencil on her calculus notebook.

"Babe, you know I suck at that stuff," I say, leaning against the doorway.

"Ugh, I know, I just can't do this anymore. I feel like all I do is homework," she says, throwing her pencil at the notebook in front of her and falling into her folded arms.

"Jess, our senior year is almost over, you just have to push through for a few more months," I tell her, squatting next to her. I put a hand on her shoulder and she turns to look at me.

"I love you," she tells me.

"I love you more," I say with a smile.

"I can't do any more homework right now, I need a break," she says, standing up. "Let's go hang in your room."

I follow her to my room, closing the door behind me. Not that it would've mattered, Lauren and Darry wouldn't be home for a few hours.

"What do you want to do?" she asks me. I sit beside her on the bed and place my hand on her lower thigh.

"You," I say with a wink. We always joke around like that when we're alone, but we've never done anything more than kiss, even though we've been together for almost 9 months. Don't get me wrong, we've come really close to doing it, but someone's always gotten in the way.
