**Bailey's POV**

Victoria and I decided to take a little walk around town. She really hasn't done much since she and Johnny split, and I figured it would be good for both of us to get some fresh air and get the chance to take our minds off a few things.

But, I didn't quite put it together that Johnny and his new girlfriend - the one Victoria doesn't know about yet - would be out in town too.

I did eventually end up talking to Johnny. Since Victoria starts crying her eyes out whenever something even remotely related to Johnny comes up, I haven't really gotten the story from her. From what he's said, I understand why he's been keeping his distance from her, as hard as it is for me admit. Victoria has been my best friend through everything we've gone through since we met, and as much as I want to completely take her side, it's hard when we're all starting to realize that she's kind of done it to herself.

We stroll by the movie house, and of all the things that could've happened, Johnny and Rachel walk out just then.

I make eye contact with Johnny and my heart stops beating. He looks at me in terror.

Suddenly, he's rushing Rachel back towards the Curtis house, and in my attempt to shove Victoria the opposite way, she sees him.

"Wait, was that Johnny?" she asks. I know she's been desperate to talk to him because of how much she misses him, but if she goes over there now, everything that could possibly go wrong probably would.

"Uh, no, I don't think so.." I lie.

"Yes, that's him! I recognize the leather jacket!" she says and starts running after him. I grab her arm before she can get very far.

"Victoria, I'm not sure that's such a good idea.." I try before she breaks free and rushes towards him.

"Johnny!" I hear her yell. He turns and his eyes go into a state of panic.

Victoria stops running when Rachel turns around. I can see her try to form words, but struggle immensely.

"Who's this?" she finally asks. I can hear her heart shattering as she speaks.

"This is Rachel," he says. Rachel smiles awkwardly.

"Oh," Victoria says slowly. My own heart breaks as I listen to her try to speak without crying.

"So are you guys, like, a couple?" she says quietly.

"Uh, yeah," Johnny says. He waves at me as I step up next to Victoria.

"We have to get going," I tell her.

Victoria's eyes grow puffy in an attempt to hold tears in, so I smile at the couple and begin to pull her away.

"Victoria?" Johnny yells when we've made it about 10 steps. Victoria stops walking but doesn't turn around.

"It was good to see you."

Tears stream down her face as she continues walking. I follow closely behind.

"Did you know about this?" she asks me.

"Yeah, we all did," I say soothingly. I see a tear slip down her cheek.

"How long have they.." she starts, but can't finish her sentence.

"About a month," I say sadly. Victoria looks down at the pavement.

"I'm gonna go home," she says and abruptly changes the direction she's walking. I let her walk away, knowing that what she just saw probably hurt her more than I ever could imagine.

**Alex's POV**

I walk into the living room with Aliyah on my hip, finding Dally sitting on the couch on the phone. I put Aliyah in her high chair, kiss the top of her head, and sit on the couch next to Dally.

"Thanks a lot, I'll call you back by the end of the night," he says to whoever is on the other line before placing the phone back onto the receiver. He smiles and puts his hand onto my thigh.

"Hello, Beautiful," he says. "I'm sorry that took so long."

"It's okay, who was it?" I ask, placing my hand on top of his.

"The guy who wants us to move out to LA," Dally says. "I have to tell him our decision by the end of the night."

I sigh. "Well, what do you want to do?"

"I want to make you happy," he says with a laugh. "You know that's all I want to do."

I stay silent for a moment. "I think we should go."

Dally's face forms the biggest smile. "I was really hoping you'd say that."

"I know it's going to be so incredibly hard, especially at first, but it will end up being the best thing for us," I say. "We can raise our two beautiful babies without any kind of money stress, and we can do so much more than we could here."

"This is exactly why I married you," he says, kissing me briefly. "OK, I'm going to call that guy back, why don't you put Aliyah down and we started packing?"

I nod and get straight to work. I'm buzzing with a lot more excitement than I had anticipated.
