GIRLS ROOM

"So, who wants to go first?" Alex asks.

"I guess I can go, since I'm pretty tired of trying to hide mine," Victoria says. "I'm pregnant!!"

The whole room erupts in happiness. People jump around on the beds and hug Victoria and squeal in joy.

"How far along are you?" Kayla asks excitedly.

"About 2 months. The due date is July 21st," Victoria says happily.

"I'm judging by your attitude that you two are excited about this?" Alex asks.

"Well, I'm not sure, I haven't told Johnny yet. But he keeps saying how excited he is to start a family, so I'm assuming he will be," Victoria says with a smile.

"Oh my gosh, I'm so happy for you guys," Kayla says, and wipes a tear from her eye.

"Wait, Kayla, what's wrong?" Alex asks. Kayla tries to smile but her tears eventually win.

"Nothing," she says, obviously upset. Alex leans against her and holds her as she cries.

"You can tell us anything, Kayla," Lauren says sincerely.

"Well, Soda keeps bringing up babies-" Kayla breaks into another round of tears, but tries to finish her sentence. "And we've had so many accidents where we didn't use protection and I didn't get pregnant, so I figured I would get checked to make sure everything was okay..."

"Oh no..." Alex says. Kayla just nods and breaks down again. Alex rubs her arm as everyone else consoles her too.

"Does Soda know?" Victoria asks.

"No, and I don't think I can tell him. He wants this more than anything, and I can't give it to him..." Kayla cries.

"Kayla, I promise he will love you no matter what," Jessica says.

Kayla looks up. "Really?"

"Yes! He looks at you like you put the stars in the sky! I noticed it the second I saw you two together, and I remember thinking, 'wow, I hope someone loves me that much someday'."

Kayla smiles and wipes her eyes. "Thank you, Jess, that makes me feel a lot better."

Jessica smiles and hugs Kayla briefly before the group disperses again.

"Alex, you go," Victoria says. Alex half-smiles.

"Well, it's not much of a secret, but I saw Dally a couple weeks back. He saved me and Aliyah from getting beat by a drunk greaser," Alex says. "Which reminds me, I should go check on her."

Alex leaves the room quickly as everyone gets more hot chocolate. Kayla sighs.

"God, I can't even imagine what she's going through," she says. "I mean with Soda, at least I knew where he was. I haven't heard from Dally in months."

"I feel awful. I've never seen two people more in love than Dallas Winston and Alex Matthews. I really thought she was gonna end up being his girl forever," Victoria says.

"I think we all did," Lauren says.

Alex comes back into the room, holding a baby monitor.

"She should be down for the night," she says. "Who's next?"

Lauren nervously raises her hand.

"Well, technically you guys get to find out my secret with me," she says slowly.

"Lauren, what are you talking about?" Kayla says.

Lauren pulls something out of her back pocket. It's thin and white with a blue cap.
