"Don't scare him like that." I held up my book and earned a chuckle from Manager.
"Please, what would you like to say, sir?" The doctor asked while checking my chart and fluids.
"Well, you have the idol Jung Hyo here. The slight catch is, no one else knows he is a she."
"So what you are saying is, Miss Jung is Mr Jung?"
"Yes."
"Please Mr. Doctor, don't tell anyone!" I waved my sign around and begged.
"Only the people on your case will know. Please relax,"
The Doctor and manager stepped out of the room to talk and I tried to settle again, but it was short-lived. A nurse peeked her head in the door and her face lit up, she closed the door behind her and approached my bed.
"I'm so sorry to bother you, but I have a few gifts from the fans outside."
"Thank you, miss." I smiled at her and she handed me a few boxes.
I placed them on my lap and began to open a few of the letters, girls professing their love and guys looking up to me. I couldn't believe that my dreams had come true, at the same time I hated being a boy. Not even my band members knew I was a female, and it made some tense situations.
My manager returned with a smile on his face and tossed a small bag of apple slices at me. "Rest up, you'll be in Dr. Kim's care now. Also in two weeks, you'll have vocal surgery. Looks like you'll be a busy bee."
"I hate bees." I wrote.
"I know, uh, its a metaphor."
After clearing a few rules up with me and making sure I would post on social media once or twice a week my manager left.
