Katniss P.O.V.

"Shh. You're okay, baby girl. I've got you," I tell Willow softly as I hold her close to me on her bed.

It's been a month since we've told her everything about the Hunger Games, and the nightmares have of course been relentless. One of us has woke up screaming every night, which then wakes us all.

"Where's D-Daddy?"

"He's in the nursery calming Rye down for right now."

"I need him."

"Peeta!" I holler. He walks into the room with Rye held securely in his arms.

"Hold me," Willow whines as she reaches out for Peeta. Peeta sits down beside of me and hands Rye to me as he takes Willow.

"Are you okay?" Peeta asks Willow softly as he brushes her hair out of her face. Willow nods her head as she wipes her eyes with the back of her hands and sniffles.

Her little body is shaking like a leaf, and she's clinging to Peeta's neck for dear life.

"Mama," Rye says as he gently tugs at the ends of my hair to get my attention.

"What is it, baby boy?" I ask Rye in a soft and calming voice. Rye points to Willow and frowns at her. "Are you worried about Willow?" Rye's bottom lip starts to quiver as he continues to stare at Willow. "She's okay," I say.

I scoot closer to Peeta, and Rye leans over closer to Willow before wrapping his little arms around her neck. Willow laughs through her tears before hugging Rye back.

"I love you, Rye," Willow whispers to him. Peeta and I look at each other and smile.

"He's worried about you, Willow," I tell her. She laughs again, causing Rye to let out a raspy giggle.

"Do you want to go to sleep now?" Peeta asks Willow. She looks up at us and shakes her head.

"I'm scared."

"There's nothing for you to be scared of, baby girl," Peeta tells her. "I know it's scary, but they're just nightmares."

"I don't care," Willow says.

"I'll stay up with her," I tell Peeta. "You have work tomorrow."

"What about if you sleep in our bed tonight, Willow?" Peeta asks her.

"Okay," Willow sniffles as she nods her head at Peeta.

"Let's go," Peeta says as he stands up with Willow and Rye. I take the baby from him and start towards the nursery. I go to lay Rye down in his crib, but he clings to me.

"Mama."

"Okay," I say as I pick Rye back up. "I guess you're wanting to sleep with me and Daddy too."

I go back over to mine and Peeta's room and lay Rye down on the bed beside of Willow between Peeta and I.

"I think Rye is jealous," Willow says with a giggle.

"I think so too," Peeta tells her as he reaches over to take my hand in his. I watch both of the kids until they drift off, then I look over at Peeta to see that he's still wide awake.

"I'm not tired now," I tell Peeta quietly so I don't wake the kids. He shakes his head.

"Me neither."

"This is awful," I say. "I never wanted her to have nightmares like we do."

"I know," Peeta says. "But we both knew that it would probably be like this."
