Katniss P.O.V.
"Katniss," Peeta says as he shakes my shoulder. "Kat, baby, wake up."
"Who was on the phone?"I ask Peeta as I sit up.
Peeta swallows hard. "The hospital."
My heart drops. "Mom?"
"Yeah," Peeta says as he nods his head. I stand up off the bed, and Peeta wraps his arms around me. "It's going to be okay, Katniss. Just get ready to go to the hospital, and don't worry about anything else. Alright?"
I nod my head and shakily get dressd.
"Here," Peeta says as he hands me the car keys. "Go on out to the car. I'll call Haymitch and see if he can watch Rye for us."
"Okay," I say as I nod my head. I get ready to walk off when something occurs to me. "Peeta," I say as I turn around to face him. "What about Willow?"
"They've got her at the hospital," Peeta tells me. "A nurse is watching after her until we get there. Willow's actually the one who called them."
"Oh my gosh," I say as tears fall down my face. "But she's alright?"
"She's fine," Peeta assures me. "Just go on out to the car. I'll be there in a minute." I nod my head, and then go over to the nursery.
"I'll see you later, baby boy. Momma loves you so much," I whisper to Rye as I kiss his forehead. I then quickly head on out to the car. I fumble with the car keys as I try to unlock the door, but I end up dropping the keys to the ground. When I bend down to pick the keys up, I just let the tears flow.
I scream out and bang my fists against the side of the car. We've lost too much. I can't handle anymore.
"Katniss," Peeta says softly as he places a hand on the small of my back. "Come here, honey." He helps me up off the ground and into the car. It feels like the longest car ride of my life. When we finally get to the hospital, my whole body is shaking.
Peeta has to keep an arm wrapped around my waist to keep me upright. When I pass by a waiting room and see my baby girl sitting there, it gives me a sudden burst of energy, and I take off running. I open the door to the waiting room, and Willow looks up at me.
"Mommy! Daddy!" Willow hollers as she comes racing over to us. Peeta and I both kneel down on the ground and take Willow in our arms. I look up at the nurse who was sitting beside of Willow and smile.
'Thank you,' I mouth. She nods her head, and then leaves the room.
"Daddy!" Willow sobs into Peeta's chest.
"Shh. You're okay, Willow," Peeta tells her. He reaches over and wraps his free arm around me.
"Willow, look at me," I tell her softly. She lifts her tear-stained face to look at me. "I'm so proud of you, baby girl."
She sniffles. "You are?"
"Yes, Willow. We both are," Peeta tells her. "You were very brave, and you did the right thing."
"But, Daddy, I'm scared," Willow cries.
"That's okay," Peeta tells her quietly. "Even brave people get scared sometimes."
"Really?"
"Mhm," Peeta tells her.
"Willow," I say softly. She looks over at me again. "Can you tell me what happened?"
Willow nods her head and takes a deep, shaky breath. "I had a bad dream, and I got scared. I went to get Grandma, and she wouldn't wake up."
I close my eyes and take a deep breath. Peeta squeezes my shoulder with his hand, and then pulls me closer to him. I look over at Peeta and blink back the tears.
