I put my phone down and changed into my gym clothes. I went to the gym and did my routine. While doing push-ups, I recieved a call from my fiancé
"Babe? Asan ka?"
"At the gym, why?"
"Pupuntahan kita dyan."
"What? No! Its not going to work. I told you I need space, diba? So stop being so immature!"
"Ugh! What did I do wrong this time? Pupuntahan kita dyan, mamaya may umaaligid na babae syo dyan!"
"Raffa, wag ka ngang OA. Hindi pa tyo kasal kaya I can still do anything I want."

I sighed and sat up. I scrolled through my phone and saw many notifications I haven't seen. Then I saw a post from my old college friend.

I whispered. I then heard a famillar voice coming from a different direction. I saw Valeen, waving at me.
"Hey, Alden! Long time no see."
"Yeah. Hey, Val! She's back na pala..."
"Sino?"
I showed her my phone and she leaned in to take a better look.
"Ah, oo, she's back! Aren't you happy?"
"Alam mo naman ung past namin diba?"
"Akala ko ba you have moved on?"
I looked away and sighed.
"Wow. Don't tell me hindi ka pa nagmo-move on sa kanya
I still didn't answer her.
"Well, alam ko namang mahirap talagang magmove-on kung mahal mo talaga ung tao. Sige na, tutuloy ko na ung work-out ko. Nice seeing you again, Mr. Faulkerson!"
She said as she walked back.
"Ay, teka! May party nga pala si Je mamaya, sana makapunta ka."
She walked away again. I sighed, feeling nervous and excited. After 7 years, masasagot ko narin yung tanong na toh. After another hour in the gym, I went home and took a shower.
Time check: 10:00 PM...
I wore my casual clothes and went to Je and Val's house. I was already greeted by Je when I got in.
"Pre! Buti nakarating ka!"
"Eh syempre, birthday mo eh."
"Ayan ang gusto ko syo eh. Hindi ka party pooper gaya ni Papa Rodjun."
Then we both laughed.
"Teka, andyan ba si Raffa?"
He asked.
"Wala."
"Mabuti naman. May pagkalandi kasi ung fianće mo, KJ pa. Inom ka lng pre, you are still a bachelor."
He left me and I went to their pool outside. I sat on the bench and scrolled through my phone.
