My one true love

Chapter #3: Maine

He left me and I want to their pool outside. I sat on the bench and scrolled through my phone. I heard footsteps towards the pool and saw her. She went in the pool and hanged out with the girls. I watched her every actions, how she drinks, how she laughs, and how she spends time with our friends.

"Maine..."

I stood up and went inside. I was rushing to het out when I bumped into Jerald.

"Huy, Den! Anong nangyayare syo?"

"Nadyan si Maine sa labas, baka makita pa nya ako!"

I said while trying to get out. But Jerald pulled me back.

"Teka, pre, iniiwasan mo ba sya?"

I sighed and faced him.

"Je, alam mo naman ung past namin diba?"

"At tingin mo maayos nyo yon sa pag-iwas nyo sa isa't isa? Alden, tatagan mo ung loob mo! Kalimutan mo na si Maine, kalimutan mo na ung lahat ng ginawa nyo noon. Past is past, pre."

I sighed once again.

"Tsaka wag kang KJ, minsan na nga lng ako magpaparty, aalis ka pa?"

"Sige, hindi na ko aalis. Basta hanapan mo ko ng lugar kung san ko sya hindi makikita."

"Hay... Sige. Dito tyo."

Je took me to the kitchen and left me there. There were only 4 people in the kitchen, that should be enough. Valeen saw me and gave me a drink.

"Ayan ah. Meron pa dyan sa ref if you want more. Balikan kita mamaya."

"Sige, Thanks ulit!"

Valeen patted my shoulder and left me. I drinked the beer, and continued to scroll through my phone. I saw the door opened from the backyard and saw Maine entering in with a see-through robe. She was still laughing and looking from the back.

"Maine! Ako din kuhaan mo!"

Chariz shouted.

"Sure!"

I saw her open the ref and get 4 beers. Then she caught me.

"A-Alden?"

I stood up and ran to find Je but she still catched up.

"Alden! Wait!"

I decided to go outside instead. There were alot of people in the living room, that's why I had to push my way through. And I finally got outside, then I remembered, she was only wearing a see-through robe. I gave up and faced her.

"Alden, teka lang..."

She said while gasping for air. After a few seconds...

"What?"

I asked sarcasticlly.

"Alden, iniiwasan mo ba ako?"

"Ano sa tingin mo? Bumalik ka na sa loob, tignan mo ung suot mo oh."

I said while pointing at her.

"Hindi. Hindi ako babalik hangga't di tyo naguusap."
