Then Raffa started tearing up.

I left her in the house then went to Kristoffer's.
"Bro, anyare sayo? Bakit ka namumula—"
"Saan nakatira si Maine? Kailangan ko syan mahanap please..."
"Den, ano bang nangyayare sayo? Okay ka lang ba?"
"Hindi ako magiging okay kapag hindi ko nahanap si Maine—"
"Eto na, hatid ka na namin."
We ran out of his house and went to Maine's. We knocked on her door, expecting that her face would show up, but instead, her cousin showed up.

Kristoffer asked.

I ran back to the car and Kristoffer followed.
"Bro, dahan-dahan lang! Baka mahuli tayo ng pulis!"
"Kris, kailangan kong habulin si Maine! Hindi sya pwedeng umalis! Hindi nya ko pwedeng iwanan!"
I drove faster, then 10 minutes later, we reached the airport.
"Huy! Sir, bawal po dito, para po sa mga pasahero ito—"
"No. Kuya, you don't understand me. I need to stop someone, I need to reach her! Please!"
"Sorry, sir. Pero bawal talaga—"
"Kuya, kailangan mo syang papasukin. Kuya, intindihin mo naman ung tao. Kailanga nyang mapigilan ung babae."
"Kuya, sure naman ako na kahit minsan umibig ka rin tiba?"
The guard sighed.
"Pag-ibig talaga. Sige na!"
"Salamat, kuya!"
I ran inside and looked around to find Maine. But there was no sign of her. I looked at the board, and it said that her flight has landed off.
"Lord! What will I do know?"
I asked. The next thing I know, I was on the floor, tearing up.
"Bro, umalis na sya. Kailangan na din natin umalis."
"Hindi pwede."
"Sir, kailangan nyo na pong umalis. Baka po mawalan ako ng trabaho."
I stood up then Kristoffer guided me out. He drove me home, and talked to Raffa.
"Kristoffer, thank you at sakin mo ibinalik ung fianće ko."
"Hindi ko sya ibinalik sayo dahil gusto kong kayo ang magka-tuluyan sa huli. Alalahanin mo, Raffa."
