Chapter 6: Take Shelter

As Peter, Matt, Jessica, Luke, Stick and Danny were fighting off Hand members inside the resturant, no one expected for another guy to jump inside from the sky light.
"Who's this?" Danny asked. Nobody answered Danny's question as Peter flipped from a wall and kicked himself into a guy with a knife. Matt slammed a chair at the guy who just entered. Luke ducked from Elektra's sword and pushed her back. Jessica also attacked Elektra, who ended up tripping Jessica.
"She's annoying" Luke said.
"Tell me about it" Jessica replied in agreement. Peter, Matt, and Danny turned their attention on the guy who just came in, but the man was blocking most of their attacks. (Of course the man is Murakami, one of the 5 fingers of the Hand). Peter flipped over Murakami, caught himself with his hands as if he were showing off a handstand and threw himself into Murakami's back, Murakami flew into a wall, but much to Peter's shock recovered quickly from that, getting up as if nothing had happened.
"What the heck?" Peter said in shock.
"That tends to happen when you fight the Hand" Danny replied. Suddenly Peter's eyes catch a glimpse of a flying Luke Cage. Luke landed on a table and proceeded to get up. Peter looked at the person Luke was fighting and saw it was Elektra.
'How much strength does that woman have to be able to toss a dude like Luke Cage?' Peter thought.

As the chaos continued to ensue, Danny asked a very important question, "Where's Alexandra?"
Suddenly a strange ringing was heard by Peter and Peter alone.
'What is going on with me?' Peter thought. Murakami escaped and soon after the ringing got into Peter's hand there was a group of men armed with guns walking toward them.
"GET DOWN!" Danny yelled. The Defenders (and Stick), with the exception of Luke Cage, who was bulletproof anyway, got down and took cover. To Peter's amazement, the bullets were bouncing off Luke's skin, going everywhere. Matt tackled Jessica down.
"Dude, get off of me" Jessica said.
"Keep it clean Jessica" Peter replied.
"Not what I meant!/Not the time for joking Spider-Man" Jessica/Matt responded respectively. The sound of breaking glasses and guns firing bullets filled the resturant as the gun men walked inside.
"Now it's a goddamned party" Stick quipped.
"Who are these people?" Jessica asked.
"They want Danny" Stick answered.
"If they want Danny then these guys are clearly the Hand" Peter added as Madame Gao entered the building, walking behind the gun men. Gao grabbed a gun and shot the lead gun man in the head, killing him. Peter's eye's widened under his makeshift mask.
"We want him alive" Gao said.
'Holy crap! That woman just shot her fellow Hand member' Peter thought. Sowande, the leader of the faction of the Hand where the gun man was from glared at Gao breifly before the Defenders and Stick stood up, once again ready for battle. Members of the Hand quickly surrounded them, armed with different types of weapon.
"Oh shit" Jessica swore softly. Elektra stood up as the Hand members continued to surround Peter and the others.
"Just how many of these guys are there?" Peter asked.
"Alot, so be ready for a long battle kid. You 5, if we work together, we'll walk out of here alive" Stick replied. Matt suddenly grabbed a man and tossed him to the side.
"No" Stick said, but Matt ignored everything and tackled Elektra.
"What the heck is he doing? Is he serious right now?" Peter said in shock.

As Peter stood stunned that Matt just left him and the others to fend off the Hand army, the ring sound blared in Peter's head again. It didn't hurt him or anything, but it made him on edge, suddenly he had some type of feeling that something bad would happen just behind him and Peter stepped to the side, avoiding a knife that was set to stab him, much to Danny's shock as he was about to warn Peter but got attacked before he could do it. Peter webbed the man in the face and punched him, being careful not to punch the man at full strength because according to Tony, one punch from him, while not as damaging as one from someone like the Hulk, could still break all the bones of a normal guy... instantly killing him. (A fact that is actually canon in the comics~ Sage)
'There was that ringing again. Last time it happened right before the gun men showed up, now it happened before I was stabbed... it can't be a coincidence can it?' Peter thought. The ringing started again and Peter punched a man to the side of him before he can even attack.
