THEAS POV

"Your shitting me" my voice was level, hoping that Kay would flick me on the head and say "don't be a dope Thea, I'm just pulling your leg" but as I looked into her eyes and saw her sheepish smile, I knew that this couldn't turn out well.

I ran my hand threw my hair and let out a shaky sigh, I looked up to meet Kays chocolate brown eyes and raised my eyebrow's to continue. As I stared into her chocolate orbs, I craved a Hershey's bar even more than any girl ever had on their period.

"Ehhhh-" Kayleigh's attempt to answer was cut off by my stomach rumbling.

"Oh I'm dying for Supermacs, how 'bout Supermacs?" Kayleigh blurted out.

I rolled my eyes but couldn't argue at the obvious attempt to change the subject.

We grabbed our stuff and headed down the road to the 24h Supermacs.
The automatic doors opened for us as we walked in.

I took a seat in the corner as Kayleigh went up to the bored looking kid at the till to get our usual's.

I rested my head in my hands and wiped my eyes.

A tray clanked down onto the counter, making me groan in annoyance from not letting me sleep and also in relief for my killer hunger.

A group of rowdy lads walk through the door, shoving each other and talking loudly. I rolled my eyes but couldn't help but snarl as they reminded me of what our gang was like. I looked to Kay to see her with a smirk watching the group, her eyes quickly looked back to mine as her smirk dropped, almost as if she was only remembering I was there.

I shrugged and dug into the famous Chicken Breast Sandwich and moaned in delight. Kayleigh laughed and a bit of chicken fell out of her mouth which then made me laugh.

As we finished our burgers and most of our chips, I spoke, "What the fuck is going on" making Kay choke on her Sprite.

She sighed, knowing with a blunt question, I'd want the answer blunt. "Ma kicked us out, were living with our fathers. In America. We're moving Thea, and we're probably never coming back" with that she looked up at me. I was shocked not expecting that.

I clenched my fists and tapped my knee fast, trying to relieve my anger without physically punching someone.

When the loud group let out a roar of cheer I shot up in my seat and turned my head to them. "SHUT THE FUCK UP, WOULD YE!!!" Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Kay's eyes widen and she shook her head at me.

Her stare turned cold, sending me a message to sit down and shut the hell up. I hesitate, but still in my rampage I continue.

The boys all chuckle and smirk, some scoffing at me. I fucking hate their condescending asses.

They turn to Kayleigh, speaking of me like I'm a child. "Put that dog on a leash, before her nose goes snooping where it shouldn't be"

Kayleigh's glare deepened as she turned to the tattooed man who seemed to called the shots. "Careful Adams, seems like you need to be reminded who the big dogs are" he growled like the bitch he was and stormed out with his posey following after but not before shorting a few glares.

My head turned to Kay. "The fuck was that?!?!" I screamed, throwing my hands up.

"It's fine Thea, just drop it. Forget about it" she said easily, going back to her chips like nothing ever happened.
