Theas PoV

I flipped a fucking shit.

Kay kissed Gilinsky.

Kay kissed Gilinsky.

Kay kissed Gilinsky.

Kay kissed Gilinsky.

KAY KISSED GILINSKY.

When she told me about it, she first shrugged it off as nothing but as we continued talking her excitement clearly showed.

"Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god." She squealed and grabbed my arm, dragging me to sit on the park bench.

"Thea, let me tell ya, I've kissed a lot of lads-" I scoffed and rolled my eyes making her growl at me before continuing, "-but I've never kissed someone like the way I kissed him. Or the way he kissed me. I felt safe, and warm and at peace Thea."

I sighed and smiled at her, awkwardly putting my hands in my pockets. "Eh.. congrats?"

She looked at me deadpanned. "I just, it's never been like that T. Even with Jay, it's never been like that before." Her eyes wide as she remembered the kiss.

"Go get 'em then tiger. He won't wait around forever." I nudged her shoulder and smiled.

She sighed heavily. "But what about Jay and Grayson?" She mumbled.

She seemed so happy when she talked about Gilinsky. I'm happy for her and I'm not gonna let anyone ruin it for her, no matter what it takes.

"Kay. They are not with us anymore. The don't control us. We lost them Kay, we moved to America, we met our fathers and our brothers. We actually have people we can call friends, real friends who don't ditch us at the guarda station and put the blame on us. We have come this far Kay and I'm not about to let them get in our way. So don't you dare let them break what ever it is you and Gilinsky are." I stared at her in the eyes, something she knows that I can't do when I'm lieing or guilty or sad. She has to know that I'm telling the truth.

"I don't think you've ever said so much in one go before." She cracked a smirk up at me.

I sighed shakily, "I know, it's weird. I think I'm gonna shut up now."

Kay squinted her eyes at me. "I didn't mean what I said about your mouth. Don't use it like mine anyways, but don't be afraid to talk Thea, no one's gonna stop you anymore."

I smiled weakly in thanks and we both walked back to the lads who were trying their best to spy on us, but Cam just glared at and awkward Gilinsky.

"Alright, you can step back now Cam, this has always been my role so I can do it right." I placed a hand on Cams shoulder and everyone turned to look at me weird.

I pulled my sleeves down before quickly pulling them back up, I always have to have my sleeves up, having them down feels weird.

"Alright" I mumbled as I stood in my stance, but Kay jumped in front of me.

"Not the usual method Thea." She growled protectively.

I threw my hands in the air. "What the fuck?! This is what I always do! It separates the weak from the ones who really want you Kay." I said and tried to walk around her to Gilinsky but he just shrunk behind her.
