KAYLEIGHS POV

"I don't want them any more"

The world's tumbled out of my mouth so carelessly yet so regretful. Kai's nostrils flared as he stared at me in the old abandoned warehouse.

"What do you mean you don't want them anymore?" He seethe as he stalked towards my laid back figure as I leaned against the door frame to the fire exit.

"Do you want me to spell it out for?" I smiled sarcastically. He now stood in front of me, his jaw and fists clenching and unclenching.

G's is so much hotter.

"Don't play games with me Kayleigh" He growled. I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms over my chest.

"Please, if I wanted to play games I'd go to the casino down the road, at least then I might have a better competition" I said while looking him up and down with disgust.

"Is this about what I told you?" He asked, his voice now wary. A smirk grew on my face which gave him his answer. But that was only half the reason why I don't want that shit anymore.

"Kayleigh, they are gonna kill me, do you know that?" He stated carefully.

"Acctually now that Alecs in town, I might drop that hint to them so he can swing by and do the job" I said thoughtfully.

"Kayleigh, no please" He begged. I chuckled at his pathetic state. For a second, the chuckle was more so to cover up the tightening in my chest that longed to give in to him easily, I knew he was in trouble, and I would probably get in trouble too for not taking the drugs, but I couldn't, or could I?

"Ill see ya later Woods" I saluted him before kicking off the wall and exiting the building with a slam of the cold metal door.

I stood in the empty parking lot for a second. Just breathing. Until eventually I yelled at the top of my voice. After what felt like an eternity, I shut my huge fucking mouth and composed myself.

Time to plaster on that fake ass smile.

Its times like this I wish I wasn't the slow one. I mean I'm smart, I think, but I get distracted easily which ends me up in situations like this.

Arguing with the cashier at Target, trying to buy alcohol so we can play a fucking drinking game.

"I swear I'm over 21, have you seen tits like these on 16 year old!?" I argued while pointing at my chest. Thank god it was a male or else this would have been a whole lot harder.

His eyes glanced down a second too long before he quickly looked away whith a tinge of pink on his cheeks.

"I'm sorry Miss, but unless you have an ID I can't sell it to you" He said after gulping visibly. I rolled my eyes and slouched my shoulders. Before I could start taking off my top, a voice cut through.

"It's okay, I got this"

Oh, your fucking kidding me.

I tensed back up at the gruesome sound of his voice. I watching his thick, rough hands glide across the counter top as he handed the 100 dollar bill to the now quivering cashier. As soon as it was paid for, I grabbed the bag and swiftly exited the shop.

But life just wanted to make that little bit more difficult for me.

"What, no thanks,?" Alecs voice was smart and I could feel the smirk. And for that, I ignored him.

Wrong choice.

He grabbed my arm and pulled me back to face him. I glared at his towering figure with eyes that could send me straight to hell.
