The next day I woke up at 6 am. My alarm clock went off playing Glad You Came on B104. That radio station just REALLY loves playing their songs. I rolled out of bed and opened up my closet. I couldn't decide what to where. I grabbed a pair of blue skinny jeans and cute top. I normal wore the top when I went to parties but I was dating Nathan know, I had to look great 24/7. It was a one shoulder top, bright red and the shoulder strap had a few roses on it. It was one of my favorite tops. I picked out 3 pairs of shoes. There were the black converse I had written TW lyrics all over the rubber, my combat boots, and a pair of red pumps. I decided on the combat boots. Pumps at school? No! I picked up my leather jacket and put it on. Grabbed a bagel, my shoulder back pack, and my keys. I got to school and the day just dragged ON and ON! Once it was lunch time I went to the garden and called Nathan.
"Hey Nath." I said smiling.
"Hey babe," He responded. "How's school?"
"Boring as usual. I can't wait until it's over. Are you busy later?"
"Actually yeah I have to go somewhere." He said kind of sneakily.
"Oh, uhm ok... Well I should probably get to class so uhm talk later?" I asked a bit hurt inside.
"Ok talk later beautiful."
"Alright." We hung up and i gathered my things from the bench. Where was he going? What was he doing? He wasn't going anywhere with someone else was he?! Thoughts raced through my mind and I ran to class. After my last to classes I went to afternoon homeroom. I wsa only in there for 15 minutes and I finished all my homework. As soon as the bell rang I walked out to my car. When I got over to it Nathan was leaning on the side of it.
"Well I thought school would never let out!" He exclaimed winking at me. My face lit up and I smiled.
"Hi Nathan. Where should we go?" I asked winking back at him.
"Give me the keys, I got the directions don't worry. I know where we're going." I did as he asked and tossed him the keys. I threw my bag in the back and hopped in the passenger seat. We drove for about 30 minutes and then we finally arrived at a little club.
"Suprise!" Nathan held out two tickets to a concert.
"Where are we?" I asked him staring at the tickets, then him.
"A Paramore concert!" I snatched the tickets and leaned over to hug him.
"You're the best boyfriend in the whole world! I love you!" We jumped out of the car and walked into the club. We were a bit out of place, everyone looked all punk and emo and then you see me and Nathan. I mean I fit in more then he did, I have fire red hair so I guess I looked a bit more 'the part'. The concert was great! I got to go crowd surfing and Nathan was a bit over protective again. He didn't like that a whole bunch of people were holding up from my back but I thought it was AMAZING! A few people recognized him but not many. They weren't crazy psycho fans but they did get a few pictures. After the concert I drove us to a little diner and we had some dinner. We went back to the hotel, just because it was easier then sitting in my house with my parents. We were watching Jersey Shore on the TV. In the middle of the show Nathan's phone went off.
"Hello?" He said into his cell. I couldn't tell who was on the other line but who ever it was, they were telling Nathan something he wasn't to happy about. He hung up the phone and looked at me. He took my hands and looked at me.
"Kayla, we're leaving... tomorrow." My heart sank.
"Ok, uhm. We can make this work right?" My eyes filled.
"Absolutely. Uhm would your parents consider, maybe letting you come with?" He asked me, not knowingif it was a good idea or bad idea.
"I, I can ask." I pulled out my phone and dialed my mom.
"Hello? Mom?" I said shakily.
"What's wrong hun? Why're you crying? What did Nathan do? Did he break up with you?!"
"No mom, calm down. Actually see, they have to leave tomorrow."
"Oh sweety. I thought you said you would work it out?"
"Well we will and he, uhm Nathan, invited me to come with." My voice got quiter as I finished the sentence. My mom laughed.
"Absolutely NOT!" She said. "Kayla you're 17, you'r enot leaving home to go off with you're boyfriend. I'm sorry."
"Well unfortunetly, in a few months that's not going to be your decision!" I shouted into the phone. My voice squeaked and I started bawling.
"Well that's then not now! You're in over your head. You've been dating for a few DAYS! Maybe if you'd been together for a few month's I would say yes but it's moving to fast. Come home now."
"No mom! Ok I will be 18 in 3 1/2 months. I'm practically an adult and you have to realize that. We really care about eachother and you can't fight that. Yes it's moving fast but we;ve been through certain things that not everyone has to go through this early on in a relationship."
"Like what?!"
"I don't know maybe some girl being horrible to me because I was dating him? Yeah I know I'm going to get hate ok. My boyfriends a celebrity and smoking hot! So yeah we're strong and we love eachother."
"Where are they going next?" She asked angrily.
"... Las Vegas..." I knew that it being in Vegas was NOT helping the persuasion but WHATEVER.
"NO WAY!" She barked.
"I'm going."
"No."
"YES!"
"NO!"
YES!!!"
"Whatever! Do want you want. If you want to be an adult do it." She seemed like she'd calmed down.
"Seriously?"
"Yes. I understand ok. It's just. I'm... I'm going to miss you so much, You're my baby. But I- I trust you, and Nathan." My face lit up like new york city at night. I turned and looked at nath and nodded.
"Oh my god thank you so much mom I love you so so so so much youre the best mom in the whole world!"
"Yeah it's amazing how you love mom as soon as she says yes." She laughed and said bye. I screamed once she hung up.
"WE'RE GOING TO VEGAS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I jumped up and brought Nathan with me.
"Oh my god! Bloddy hell she said yes?!" He was toally shocked I hugged him and he kissed me.
"Well I guess I better get packing!!! What times the flight tomorrow?"
"We need to LEAVE the hotel at 8 am." Ok I will be here at 7 ok?"
"Sound sperfect." I grabeed my keys, kissed his cheek and he walked me to the door. When I got home you could feel the awkward in the air. I ran to my room and packed my bag. I didn't know how long it was for so I just through half of my closet in. Including bath suits because hey YOLO! Once I was packed I dove into bed a slept. My alarm wen off at 6 am... the usual for a weekday and I got dressed. Yoga pants and a tank with a sweatshirt. I said bye to my parents for a while and we all cried a little. Truth be told I was going to miss them however I was so happy. When I was done I went to the hotel. I got there at exactly 7 o'clock. I knocked on the door and Jayne opened it. I came in and Jay, SIva and Nathan were eating eggs. Tom was still sleeping... big shock and Max was listening to music. In a few hours I would in Las Vegas... With The Wanted... and my boyfriend... Nathan Sykes.
