Our 'date day' started as soon as I was ready to go- which was 12 pm. We went to see a movie which was really nice. We saw Snow White and The Huntsman. I was surprised to see how easy it was to get him to see it. I figured he would want to see The Avengers or Men In Black or something. But no! He agreed right away. After the movie had a late lunch at a really nice classy restaurant. We didn't fit in at all. Because we dressed for a day out. I was wearing dark skinny jeans and plaid button up top on and a pair of purple converse. Once we finished at the restaurant we headed back to the hotel and no one was there. Which I'm sure Nathan had planned just to make it that much more "romantic" and private. We walked in to the room and sat down in the living room. I layed my head down on Nathan and he twisted my hair with his fingers.
"I can't believe this is my last full day with you for who knows how long. And that you're almost eighteen." I could sense a bit of sadness in his voice, like he was fighting back tears.
"I know. I hate it. I mean it's like taking part of my world away, or even part of me away. You're so much more then just my boyfriend Nathan." I looked him in the eyes and bit my bottom lip.
"You're more then just my girlfriend to. You're the up to my down, the in to my out-"
"You're peanut butter to your jelly?" I asked trying to lighten the mood a little.
"Yes, the peanut butter to my jelly." He playfully kissed me and then rubbed his hand on my back pulling me closer. I got a smirk across my face...
"I'm I the hi to your low?" I laughed a little because he immediately understood my little TW joke.
"Absolutely." He stood up really wuick. "I will be right back." He said. I sat there lonely as he went into our room. He returned with a zebra and sparkley pink box.
"I know your birthday isn't for another two days but I thought I should give you this now." He handed the box to me and I removed the lid. There was a little bit of pink tissue paper ontop of the neckalce so I removed.
"Oh my god Nathan. It's it's perfect." I set the box on the table and gave him a huge hug. "I love it thank you so much." He picked up the necklace and told me to turn around. My back was facing him and I lifted up my hair as he put the necklace around my neck. For a good hour or two we just sat there watching tv cuddled up together. We had an occasional discussion about not loosing contact and how much we meant to each other. The rest of the boys came in around seven or eight.
"Hey guys." I smiled at them as they walked in.
"Do you like your gift?" Jay asked gesturing at the necklace.
"I love it." I replied. We had to be up early tomorrow me and Chey's flight was for 8 am and the boys was 8:15. I decided getting up at 6 was good enough and I would do a bit of packing tonight. Once almost everything was all in my suitcase I climbed into bed and turned out the light. Nathan came in a little bit later and put his arm around me, "Goodnight beautiful." He whispered. I didn't reply I just smiled. Once I woke up I whispered in Nathans ear, good morning handsome. He smirked pressed my nose.
"What're you doing?" I asked giggling.
"Trying to find the snooze button." He laughed kissing me quickly then rising out of bed. It was six thirty and we were aiming on leaving around seven. I waited for everyone in the living room. Once we were all there I stood up and my eyes filled a little.
"I'm going to miss you all so much. This is a dream I never thought I'd live and I know it's not ending. I'm just sad that I wont see you for god knows how long." They all came over and formed a group hug around me and Cheyenne. We all teared up a little then after we pulled ourselves together we headed to the airport. The turnout of fans was pretty big and Nathan aknowledged them. He took pictures, talked to them, etc. Once he knew it was almost time for me to board my plane he came over to me.
"Listen, this will work I promise. I'm going to miss you like crazy but I rpomise we will keep this going. We have skype and I will see you soon enough." He gave me a huge hug and we just stayed there, holding onto one another crying for about 5 minutes. In between my awful sobs I told Nathan how much he meant to me and that I would do anything for him. He returned the words and he walked me over to my terminal. I stepped into it, turned around and waved goodbye, blew him a kiss and wipped away a tear.
"I love you!" He yelled to me. I smiled and made a heart with my hands then walked onto the plane. The ride was boring and Cheyenne just slept the whole time. When we got back home our parents were waiting for us to bring us home. I walked over to them.
"Hi mom, hi dad." I half heartedly said walking right past them towards the exit.
"It's so good to have you home! We missed you!" My mom gave me a hig and I patted her back with one hand, still not smiling. "Sweety I know you want to go back with him but you have to be with your family. We love you so much more then-"
"No. Don't you even finish that sentence. You may love me a lot but listen to me when I say this- So does he. He may not love me more then you do because you're my parents! But hey! I love him just as much as I love you and the rest of the family! He is everything to me mom! Everything!" I walked out of the airport crying and found the car. I waited for her to unlock it, I threw my stuff in the trunk and plopped in the back seat. My mom scooted in next to me. She wrapped her arm around me and pet head.
"I understand sweety. I do I swear. I love you and I- I love Nathan. He treats you properly, he makes you happy, he is genuinely kind and he is perfect for you. I'm sorry for what I said and I promise you will see him soon ok?" I tried to cheer up. Hearing her say all that really did help. We went to get lunch at my favorite restaurant- Red Robin. Afterwards we went home and a whole bunch of family members came over to see me.
"You were on the local news ya know!" My aunt Tracie told me.
"What?" I asked a bit confused.
"Yeah! They talked about you and Nathan and how you performed on stage with them. It was a big deal!" I didn't know if I should be happy or upset that that made the news. The family gathering was nice and everyone finally left at 10 pm. The even doubled as a birthday party since my 18th was tomorrow!!! I got a new leather jacket from my cousin Megan, a new pair od earrings and a dress from my grandmom and pop-pop and a pair of Ray Bans that were hot pink and black from my other grandparents. I went straight to bed once they all went home. I had a super long day. It took a while to fall asleep and I did cry a little over the fact that Nathan was already back in Gloucester. But I eventutaully fell asleep and it didn;t feel like for very long. I woke up at 10 am to my mom tapping me on the shoulder.
"Get up and pack seety your flight leaves at three!" My eyes bulged out of my head.
"Flight to where?!" I asked frantically.
"To go see your boyfriend... duh!" I flung out of bed and gave her the biggest hug in the world.
Thank you thank you thank you thank yooooooou!!!!!!!!!!!!" I said super fast.
"Oh and happy eighteenth birthday!" She gave me a wink and left the room. I didn;t know how long I was staying so I basically packed my whole room up. When I went downstairs to see my parents I saw a box sitting on the table and it was wrapped in purple present wrap. I opened it up only to see that it was a new phone- a blackberry to be exact!
"Thank you so much you guys!" I exclaimed. "This is the best birthday ever!! But wait!!!! How will Nathan know to come get me?!" I started to panic.
"Calmed down! He was in on it the whole time. He will be waiting for you there don't worry." She kissed my forehead. "I'm going to go get ready and then I will take you to the airport- I have to come so don't try to get me not to. My baby is leaving the country! Oh and get your passport it's in the drawer under the coffee pot." She walked up the stairs and I let out a little squeal. I was so excited I could barely think straight. I sent the tweet and thanked all of the girls on twitter for wishing me a happy birthday.
