Chapter 13

When I wake I could hear Caius and daddy talking softly. "If... i die.... brother.... take her.... away.... Please" Daddy whispers. Caius sighs. I whimper and curl closer to daddy, making them think I was still asleep. Daddy chuckles weakly and gently brushes a hand across my cheek. "Carlisle is on his way brother. You'll be alright." Caius says. Daddy sighs. "You... and... I.... both.... know... that's... not... true...." daddy says. I whimper once more and slowly look up at daddy. I stifle a cry and lunge myself into his arms upon seeing him. He looked like an old man. His hair was white. His face, terribly wrinkled. His eyes weak. "Shhh... bam...bino...." daddy whispers before coughing. "No daddy! You'll be ok! You have to be." I scream. Daddy sighs and slowly rubs his hands up and down my back. "Shhh....bells." Daddy coughs. I whimper and meet daddy's eyes. "Please daddy. You have to be ok. You have to be." I cry. "I'm...sorry....bam...bino...." daddy whispers gently pressing a kiss to my head. Daddy holds me close as I cry and tells me that he loves me. Tears streamed down my face as I sobbed into daddy's chest. I didn't want to lose him. Ever. This was all that witches fault! She caused this. Feeling me shake with anger daddy pulls me closer. "I'm going to kill her daddy. I'm going to make her suffer for this. She'll pay!" I scream. Daddy smiles weakly and gently makes me look at him. He gently strokes my cheek and I lean into his hand. "I...know...bam...bino... Prom...ise...me...some...thing..." daddy whispers. I reach up and hold his hand while still leaning into it. "Anything daddy." I whisper letting more tears flow. "I...want....you...to...take...my...place..." daddy whispers. I whimper. "No daddy. Because your going to be ok. You have to be. I can't lose you." I whisper once more feeling broken. Daddy smiles sadly and I lay my head on his chest and let him hold me. Caius smiles sadly and sits beside me and gently rubs my back. "Please...bam...bino...." daddy begs. I whimper before slowly nodding. "I will daddy. But I won't need to because your going to be ok. You hear me!" I say making daddy smile weakly. "Ok...bam...bino...." Daddy says weakly while kissing the top of my head. "Carlisle is almost here cara Mia." Caius says making me smile. "See you'll be ok daddy!" I say. Daddy smiles weakly and nods. I could tell he was very weak. He had no energy and no amount of blood was going to help him. Speaking of blood daddy reaches up and rubs his throat. Caius notices and gently pulls me away before calling for a guard. The guard comes and hands Caius the blood who gives it to daddy. Caius kept me close as daddy drank it. But once it was gone daddy's thirst was still not satisfied. " I...need...more..." daddy whispers rubbing his throat. "Daddy we can't. Remember what Carlisle said. We don't know how it will effect your systems if you drink any more." I say and daddy looks over at me. But there was something in his eyes. Like he wasn't himself. "I...need...more!" Daddy growls slowly and weakly pushing himself up. Daddy's eyes were glazed over like he wasn't in control. "Brother..." Caius growls. But daddy ignores him. In a flash with unseen strenght daddy lunges at me making me scream. Caius tackles him and wrestles with him. "Caius don't hurt him!" I scream and daddy snarls trying to get to me. "Bella get out of here! Now!" Caius yells still fighting and struggling to control daddy. It was like he was stronger then Caius. The door bursts open and uncle Marcus and a few guards come running in. I scream as A loud crack can be heard as daddy Tears Caius's arm off. Caius groans as a few cracks appear on his face as well. Daddy sends Caius into the wall and he collapses "Caius!" I scream running to him. Daddy snarls and lunges at me but uncle Marcus and the guards grab him and wrestle with him. "Caius!" I scream as he groans. He weakly looks over at me and with his good hand pulls me close to him. "Caius no!" I scream as Caius winces in agony. "Bells...go..." Caius whispers. " No I won't leave you." I cry. The cracks on Caius face heal and he weakly sits up. I hug him tightly. He needed to feed before he would properly heal so he was out of the struggle for now. I turn to daddy who slams his fist into uncle Marcus face. He groans and grabs daddy's arm pulling it behind his back. "Daddy you have to stop. Please!" I scream. Daddy growls and yells trying to break free. "Daddy please. You have to stop! This isn't you. It's that witches power. I know you would never hurt me. Please daddy" I scream. It was like daddy couldn't even hear me. Slowly I go over. Caius tries to grab me but he was in to much pain. "Bella get back!" Uncle Marcus yells. I ignore him and gently place my hand on daddy's cheek. "Daddy please. I know you can hear me. You have to stop!" I cry. Daddy growls and manages to get his arm free before lashing out and cutting me across my face. I scream in pain. "Daddy stop!" I scream. In a flash Caius is on his feet and has me pulled behind his back. Uncle Marcus and the guards wrestle and slam daddy to the floor causing him to yell out in pain. "No!" I scream. "Get her out of here Caius!" Uncle Marcus tells. "Caius please!" I scream fighting him. Caius gently holds me back. "Bella no!" Caius yells. I push him off me and run to daddy's side. "Daddy. Listen to me. This isn't you. You would never hurt me. You have to get control. Please!" I cry. Daddy growls out once more and tries to lash out. "Get back!" Uncle Marcus orders. But I ignore him. I had to make daddy stop. "Daddy..." I whisper softly and daddy growls meeting my eyes. "Daddy listen to me. I love you. And I want my father back. Please!" I whisper with tears. "You are stronger then that bitch. I know you are. You are so strong daddy. You can fight it. I know you can understand me. Fight it daddy. Fight it." I whisper collapsing beside him. Daddy struggles for a few more seconds before he slowly stops. The feral look in his eyes slowly dissapears and slowly daddy gains control. "That's it daddy. Fight it!" I say. Daddy gasps deeply and looks around. He leans his head back groans in agony. Then slowly looks over at me. .
