Tie the knot

The sun is shinning on its prime. The whole academy is well informed about the celebration happening today. I am now looking at the bride who's crying in front of the mirror. Wala akong masabi sa ganda niya ngayon. Yelien looks so gorgeous and elegant. The bride is wearing my hand made dress, above the knee. Kitang-kita ang kaniyang likuran dahil sa hurmang V na design at sa harap nito ay purong lace na mayroong nakaburdang bulaklak. May beads na nakapalibut sa kaniyang leeg. Sinuot din ni Yel ang ipinamana nang kaniyang Ina na kuwentas at hikaw. Pumares ito sa damit na kaniyang suot.

"I can't believe this is finally happening! Friend, you'll walk with me right?"

"Of course, this is a royal wedding!" I replied. A tear escape from my left eye. 

We are near at the end, huh? 

I smile when that thought crossed my mind. All the fight, anxiety and fear we all felt is now finally lift up. Everything we anticipated and prepared for is finally over. But then, some people aren't here. I believe that they are in good hands now, maybe they're also celebrating with us. 

"Is she ready?" Flame suddenly barged in. 

Napangiti ako nang makita ko siyang guwapong-gwapo sa kaniyang suot. Bagay na bagay sa kaniya ang suit nitong kulay puti na pinaresan ng pulang tie at syempre ang pula niyang buhok. 

"Yes, she is ready." Sagot ko. Lumapit ako sa kaniya at kaagad niya akong hinigit palapit sa kaniya. Naramdaman ko ang kaniyang braso sa aking bewang. Napailing ako, some habits never dies. 

Just Flame owning his territory. 

"You look extra gorgeous and hot today, hmm?" He whispered in my ear. 

"You look dashing too." I replied. 

Flame chuckled. 

"Can you believe this? I'm finally getting married! I will be marrying the big jerk-handsome-loyal-sweet-guy I ever met, and that really felt so good and amazing." Once again, the soon-to-be-wife of Liam, wept some tears. 

"You deserved this, Yelien. You guys are one of the rare couples I ever meet." Flame said. 

"I know, Widerick. I never expected you'll stick with my girl, though. Does heartbeats really played you well?" Aniya ni Yelien. 

"No, she just covet them. I'm heartless now, it's all hers." He replied smiling. 

Mas lalong lumakas ang kabog nang aking puso. Hindi maipaliwanag ang nararamdam sa sandaling iyon. The moment he sincerely said those words, I felt the world is him. Well, I am all his and he's mine. Nothing more mattered, it's just us. Me and him. After Yelien sorted out everything the carriage give her a lift towards to the venue. Naiwan kami ni Flame dahil ang bride lamang ang maaring sumakay doon. 

And I am surprised that, Flame go a black horse waiting for us.  Nauna siyang sumakay at inalalayan akong umakayat doon. The wind blows and the evergreen path is waiting for us to walk in. It is a good day to be with him, forever. 

"Are you okay there, love?" 

"Yes, I am. Go on, we'll be late" I replied. 

"Okay, hold on tight. Heyah!" 

The moment the horse started running I can feel his heartbeats in my hand. Kasing bilis nito nang hayop na sinasakyan namin. The hit of the sun strike us when we exist from the gates of the academy. Napalingon ako, unti-unting lumiit ang pigura nang akademya at napalitan iyon nang mga matataas na punong kahoy. Road is slightly muddy because of the rain last night. The leaves are starting to fall from the tree, those colorful leaves... are the symbol of what I am feeling right now. The rushing feeling of oxytocin, serotonin and phenylethylamine... I felt like I am a bubble rush.
