Kwon Hyewon has never been more nervous in her life than at this very moment. She wasn't even this nervous when she was taking her final exams.
She went from singing originals on the streets to making her own first solo album. And even better, as a H1GHER MUSIC artist. If only her mother could see her now...
She sat in her own home studio listening to the final cut of one of her songs. Her debut album did pretty well, and she was expected to release more of the same style. She was expected to wow the world with her music and that was nerve-wracking.
Her phone vibrated wildly next to her. She didn't hear the ringing through her headphones.
"Hey, boss!" She answered.
"Open the door! We've been out here for ten minutes!" Chance "Cha Cha" Malone, one of her two bosses whined through the phone.
Hyewon took off her headphones and could now clearly hear the doorbell ringing. She ran to answer the door and opened up to Chance and Gray both helplessly leaning against the walls, tired. "You could've called earlier," She let them in. "We thought you'd hear the bell by the tenth time," Chance laughed.
"So, what brings you here?" Hyewon asked as she led them to the living room where they all sat down together. Chance pulled out a gift-wrapped piece out of his sling bag and handed it to her. The gift-wrap was a light blue shade with little silver polka dots scattered. Hyewon carefully removed the wrapping and what she laid her eyes on almost brought her to tears.
It was her album. The official album, with its magnificent album cover, CD and everything. She could feel her eyes well up. "The very first copy," Gray smiled. She vividly remembered the photoshoot for the album, the number of location changes, outfits, backdrops. She remembered her sister being present there, telling her that she looked like she was a model.

And Scene, Kwon Hyewon's very own first full-length album. Her own, blood (she had many paper cuts), sweat and tears. The months of frustration had finally come to an end. Now all she has to do is remember the lyrics when she performs them live at the launch party.
